Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Rosicky to Arsenal

The tabloids are reporting that Czech international Thomas Rosicky is in London to sign with the Arse today. So, what do you lot reckon - decent replacement for Dennis Bergkamp or Beavis pretender?

It's a case of Wenger getting his man, finally. He's been linked with us for at least 18 months now. In fact, before Hleb signed, one paper reported that it was Rosicky's signature that was going to be announced.

It's a good signing for us, but not for Pires who must now get serious about finding a club. Rosicky is a left-sided, forward running midfielder that's ideal to take that spot. I've liked his play when I've seen him in a Czech shirt, but I really don't know too much more about him.

Strange that he's as cheap as what they're reporting. We'll see.
