Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I just checked into the Sheraton Four Points up here in snowy Bangor, Maine and dialed up the free wireless in the room to see the result.
2-1. I'm a bit underwhelmed honestly. And the goals came from two players - Jenas and SWP - who I wouldn't have in my squad.
To top that off, the starting eleven that Fabio chose is more than a little worrying:
Calamity, the 'Orrible Orange, Jenas, Bentley, Matthew bloody Upson?
Honestly, is that side going to beat anyone good? I think not.
Watch it, Gator B. . . love me some Upson . . . What are you doing in Maine??? . . . Working for Obama I hope
I wondered where you were this afternoon for the match.
I am no Jenas fan but he played pretty well. His goal was made by Cole and he should have set up one for Cole but for the most part he played well. England didn't play very well in the first half. Wes Brown was useless. He kept giving the ball away!!
The second half was a much better display from the Blighty. They had many chances. Rooney could have a couple, Gerrard was passing like he was wearing the red of Liverpool not England. Crouch looked good when he came on.
Interesting that MANY subs were used but Owen was not one of them.
USA are beating Mexico 2-1 at half.
It is now 2-2
And it is over.
Doing an on-campus interview with the University of Maine today and tomorrow, Trev. Wish me luck!
Even though you didn't ask it from me... GOOD LUCK
