Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

What a plonker! Can anyone tell me why a professional athlete would be down the pub at 2:30 a.m. on a Sunday night? It reminds me of the whole Majestik debacle that was one of the nails in the LUFC coffin.
Calm down, calm down, eeh? Thes sounds laek sum southern softie stech-oop, la.
He has now been charged by the police.
Nothing is going to come from this, is it?
Phil Collins claims another scalp.
"It remains unclear what exactly happened at the popular celebrity nightspot, but one report has suggested that Gerrard and a group of his friends got involved in an altercation after the DJ refused to allow them to choose the songs played on the venue's sound system. Gerrard is a big fan of Phil Collins and counts the singer's greatest hits as his favourite album. He is also partial to Coldplay"
Damn! You got to it before I did. Well in, Gooner! When I heard that the victim was the club's DJ, my immediate thought was "obviously the guy didn't want to put 'You'll Never Walk Alone' on replay all night long!"
Now this - I had no idea that he was forcing the geezer to play "Sussudio." Surely that's worth a separate charge.
No, it's not possible to prosecute footballer's bad musical taste ever since the landmark Nigel Clough vs. Bizzyminicabs decision where he was cleared of lamping the cabbie one for not turning up Rick Astley when it started playing on the car radio.
The DJ was a United fan!
Yes, that explains it entirely.
The lastest news on Stevie G. this morning:
Gerrard has received the unconditional support of LFC - as well as, inexplicably, Kenny Dalglish - and was back in training today (12/31) ahead of Liverpool's 3rd round FA Cup clash. Gerrard is expected to lead the side out on Saturday. The strains of "In the Air Tonight" were heard coming out of the player's bath. (OK, I made that last bit up.)
My question - can you strip an MBE off someone?
Please Don't Ask. This must be some Misunderstanding. Against All Odds, even in this Land of Confusion, No One Is To Blame.
Hello, I Must Be Going, I'll get me coat.
