Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

SPURS AXE 'ARRY!!!

What is going on at White Hart Lane? Everyone at Spurs was worried about losing Harry Redknapp to England. The FA pick Woy and now Appy Arry loses his job down the Lane? What happened? Who will take over? David Moyes is the bookies favorite. Would Moyes leave Goodison or is he waiting for an opening at Old Trafford? Your thoughts gentlemen? UWS

This makes me nervous. Will Moyes leave if he's promised a higher budget for players, and would he take a few Everton players with him?

Please, let it be Rafa instead.

I'd have Happy Harry, Moyesy or Rafa at Elland Road in a heartbeat. How is it that everyone else is getting the sack but Neil Warnock still has a job? (sigh)

Money is the root of all evil and it sounds like a soap opera based on what I read on the Internet.Arry wanted a new and improved contract and could not reach an agreement with Daniel Levy.Arry even sacked his agent and hired Roon's agent , but to no avail.Levy felt betrayed stating that he backed Aryy during the court case. Also, Levy was not pleased that Arry went for the England job while under contract at Spurs. This coincided with a decline in Spurs' form failing to qualify for a CL place despite finishing 4th. Levy said that decreased money in the budget which needed to be used for expenses other than a pay raise for Arry. This is what I know.

You know what Harry gets you? Kharkov in December on a Thursday when you have to play Man City or United at theirs on a Sunday.

Still, I'm disappointed because it looks like he hasn't been able to steal all the spuds cutlery like he did at Pompey, Soton, Blackpool, etc, etc, etc.

Flippin' shadow merchant.

You know, I'll take Kharkov on a Thursday night. Indeed, probably 87 of the 93 clubs in English football would take Kharkov on a Thursday night. I suppose it's a matter of expectations. Levy clearly thinks Spurs are a "big" club and deserve Milan on a Wednesday night. I beg to differ.
