Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Woy's Army!

UWS and the Blue Devil urging on Woy's boys toward a serviceable opening 1-1 draw against France today. We would have pushed for better but we were knackered....

Far too defensive and not enough pace.... that's all I'm saying.

Indeed! I see a vulnerability in this defensive wall that not even phantastic Phil Milton would be able to cover.

A solid professional performance. I didn't even overdo it with the pizza and wings, and you know that takes some discipline with me around.

Great picture. As I told Bob yesterday, my England shirt from high school is several sizes too small and it was too bloody hot to wear one. It's too late to change my predictions, but as long as they don't make any stupid mistakes, England should advance from the group, but I don't see them defeating Italy or Spain. Not nice by Gooner towards Phil. Actually, very naughty from the Gooner!

Also, met Shadow on skype and would like to mention he is a great dog. Sparky and Shadow were having a great barking contest.

No disrespect to Phan-Phil intended. I'm just saying I see the top left corner of the net begging for the ball here. Unless Phil positions Crouchy on that post, I'm sticking over that free away over Micky Thomas 9-out-of-10 times. Jaap Stam seems to have the right side sorted is all I'm sayin'.
