A Better Sunday ?
It's a bloody early start to the Sunday matches and I could not go back to sleep, so here I am. It's starting with Spurs vs Newcastle. Sunderland vs Citeh and Swansea vs Stoke kick off at 9:05 then the match of the weekend is United vs the Gunners which kicks off at 10:10. A great way to end the Prem action following the international break.

It must be yes as Remy gives Spurs the lead thirteen minutes in. Newcastle had been threatening to score the last few minutes after coming close. it was their famous French connection as Gouffran tackled Paulinho in midfield and his slide rule pass to Remy was perfect as Remy made no mistake, rounding Big Brad then easily scored. That's seven goals in seven matches for Remy.
I forgot that Yeovil vs Wigan is being played this morning as well.
Decent pass across the box from the lively Eriksen , but nobody was up to connect.
Hugo LLoris is on the bench as the medical staff stated that he has been unwell all week. He had that horrible collision at Goodison Park last week.
Soldado won a Spurs free kick and Vertonghen shot it just wide by Krul would have saved it had it been on target.
what a save by Krul ! A tasty free kick by Eriksen and a near post header by Soldado in the corner was acrobatically pushed away by Krul.
Remy is down holding his hammy and that would be a tremendous loss for the Toon.
He walked gingerly off and should be okay as it's a return to WHL for Chris Hughton watching this match. Played for Spurs and managed Newcastle,.
To complete reunion day, Clive Allen , is a former Spurs player.

OH! How di that not go in. The free kick from Siggy took two deflections and Krul went the wrong way, but acrobatically kept it out. Then Yanga-Mbiwa cleared off the line as Sandro was about to put away the rebound.

MIlner goes down, looking for a penalty off a long ball as Bardsley had his hand on his shoulder. Would have been a soft one.
The goal must be a kick in Citeh's teeth , against one of the worst teams in the division and two Man Yoo rejects combined on the goal.
