Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

League Cup 4th Round Live!

It's 4th Round time in the League Cup. My beloved Leeds may not be in the competition any more but there is still plenty of action to enjoy. Coming up at the top of the hour is Chelski v. Arsenal. Now - I don't expect either Arsene or Jose to field a full strength side but it should still be of interest. Join me if you've got the time this afternoon. I'll be around for the first half.

My apologies, lads, I neglected to consider the Daylight Savings Time factor, which means that these matches are kicking off an hour later than usual.

I'm back at my class break to find that, surprise surprise, Chelski are 0-2 up at the Emirates. It seems that the Gunners aren't taking this one seriously once again and may well be throwing away a serious chance at some silverware.

If they come out of this season again without any trophies, this may be a night that fans will remind Wenger about.

United, on the other hand, are cruising along 2-0 against Norwich with a brace from Chicharito who suddenly seems to have regained his scoring touch.
