Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

They just kicked off on a nice Sunny day at Shepard's Bush
The main nice is that Harry is under pressure as the Evils have lost three on the trot. They have signed Ravel Morrison on loan from the Hammers while Leeds have signed Connor Whickham from Sunderland.
Morning, MUR - thanks for the posting. I was having a bit of trouble early doors with my Internet connection. Back up and running now.
Come on, the Leeds boys!

Harry Redknapp has certainly gathered together a rogue's gallery of Premiership rejects at QPR.
Armand Traore fouls Austin just outside the box.
Nice free kick opportunity now to the Whites (er, the Pale Yellows)
YESSSSSS!!!!!!!!
This time Ross comes good! Great free kick that clipped the wall and beat Green.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
WHAT A BEAUTY AS ROSS SCORESWITH A GREAT FREE KICK CURLED AROUND THE WALL.
Number 23 in the Championship for Ross. Lovely jubbly!
It actually went over the wall and appeared to clip Karl Henry.
How was your week, mate?
Couldn't have happened to a more thuggish player than Henry.
I agree about the Prem rejects. Some of those were purchased by Evil Neil and Mark Hughes. They have underperformed as they should be running away with this division and have lost three on the trot.
Jenas tries to curl one but he's really not good enough for that.
It was an extremely busy week , especially after the trip to Hartford. I am glad to finally have a free day. How was your week?
Indeed - they're the moneybags side in the league and are allowing Leicester to run away with it.
How was the bar mitzvah?
Hoilett offside off a long ball from Jenas.
It went really well. A chance to chat with my brothers, a cousin, who lives in the area, and older couple who said they were friends with my aunt and uncle when they were alive.
We're up to 9th on the strength of that goal, whilst QPR have dropped to 4th.
Sounds like a festive occasion. Good food too?
Oh - Kebe had a chance to play Ross in again but the touch was a trifle too heavy.
The food was outstanding. It was a great occasion. Unfortunately , it was a really short trip.
Ross wins a corner off a one two with Whickham
Corner again to the Leeds boys.
Leeds keep possession off the corner.
The commentator is right - Leeds are well on top.
Jenas fouls Austin about five yards further back from where Ross scored.
Now we've got a free kick from distance.
Cam Stewart with a pop that Green bobbled but recovered.
A soft free kick from Cameron Stewart is easily gathered by Rob Green

The corner from Warnock is gathered by Rob Green.
Luke Murphy fouls Hoilett.
The free kick from Jenas is headed away then a Leeds counter is stopped from Onuha
Whickham has a shot deflected for a corner.
The corner is headed away , then head tennis in the QPR box before Pierce is called for a foul
Warnock fouls Doyle near the corner flag.
Now QPR have a free kick opportunity.
Warnock is getting the "Dirty Northern Bastards" treatment from the QPR crowd.
Yellow for Warnock for that challenge.
Warnock booked as Doyle receives treatment.
The camera has found Charlie Austin several times today, looking not unlike a male runway model in his leather bomber jacket.
Is Paddy Kenny injured? Jack Butland is the Leeds keeper today.
I wondered who that was. Naughty QPR fans!
A horrible free kick from Jenas sails out of play.
Austin found Ross on the break, but lacked support and was tackled in the QPR box.
Yes - Paddy picked up a knock against Huddersfield recently.
Fred is joining us for the big match.
That explains it. Thanks mate.
Well in, Fred!
Hoilett tries one but is well wide.
Hoilett shoots well wide after a great run. Their first shot of the match.
Ta, mate. He's taking a cat nap on my desk, but he means well.
Jenas heads straight to Butland after a great QPR possession. They finally put some passes together.
Leeds have brought plenty of fans to the match as they are in full voice singing MOT.
BUGGER!!!! JENAS TIES IT UP WITH A GREAT FINISH.
BUGGGGERRRR!
Jermaine bloody Jenas is given the freedom of the Leeds box and drives home the equalizer.
1-1
Karl Henry started the move at the halfway line and found Kevin Doyle, who held up possession to find Jenas who slotted it in the corner from the D.
Two minutes of stoppage time as QPR have a corner.
Now a corner - we could use the half-time whistle about now. QPR gaining momentum.
Nice use of the phrase "volte face." Wow!
Clint Hill heads well wide off the corner from Jenas.
Chris Foy blows for halftime then. It was all going swimmingly until that Jenas goal. Even steven at the half.
Halftime and 1-1 . Leeds were the better team , but a late flurry from QPR and Jens tied it up just before halftime.
Leeds about to get us underway in the second half. MOT!
The second half is underway from Loftus Road.

Spring is the third week of March, so a couple of weeks away now.
Lee Peltier is down after making a great tackle.
I think yours starts a week after mine.
Peltier back up on his feet thankfully.

Warnock with a stupid foul on Morrison just outside the box.
Warnock is getting mighty close to a second yellow. Silly boy.
Lees heads away the free kick from Jenas.
Agreed. he needs to be really careful.
Lees called for a foul on Morrison on what looked like a perfectly good tackle.
Now it's Jermaine Jenas with a card. Cynical.
Poor free kick from Jenas headed away then Jenas booked for a foul on Austin as he coughed up possession and prevented a Leeds break.
Whickham lectured for a foul on Karl Henry. Players should not be booked for fouling Karl Henry.
will Keen , on loan from Man Yoo, on for Junior Hoilett.
Harry has two players from the MUFC Academy.
Never seen Will Keen - do you know him?
Oh - Wickham had a chance there - whipped it across Green but wide of the mark.
Just wide by Connor Whickham after a poor headed clearance from Onuha.
I think he made two first team appearances when SAF was in charge. He was a sub in that 2 loss vs Blackburn on SAF's 70th birthday. He has been loaned out several times.
Sounds like he's not going to make the grade.
Happy Harry is none too happy.
I seriously doubt he will. Not meant for Will.
Twenty minutes left for either side to take hold of this one.
Zeke Mowatt is on for Cameron Stewart.
Alex Mowatt tossed into the fray by Brian.
A draw might be a slightly better result for Leeds.
Ross was nobbled as he cleared that ball out.
I agree - at this point I'd be satisfied with another point.
Ross down after a poor back pass. Thankfully, several Leeds defenders were back to tackle will Keane before he could take a shot on goal.
The QPR fans giving Ross some stick and he's responding to it
Starting to drift off here - need some goalmouth action to wake me up again.
This favors Leeds as QR have not been much of a threat.
Brian appears to be tightening the screws now - Michael Brown on for Luke Murphy.
Michael Brown on for Luke Murphy. I would to see him duel with Karl Henry.
Tom Carroll, on loan from Spurs, on for Jenas.
Leeds controlling possession. Come on!
Oh - Wickham was nearly in there!
It doesn't look good for Luke Murphy as he has an icepack around his shin.
The final roll of the dice for Harry as Benayoun is on for Ravel Morrison.
Come on, you Whites - one more big push!
Not good at all for Murphy.
Morning Boys
I had a bit of a sleep in for the first time in yonks
I don't have BEIN, what's the score?
Good morning UWS. it's 1-1 in the88th minute.
The inevitable yellow for Karl Henry then. A frightening challenge on Kebe.

Oh - nearly the second goal for us - good header saved well by Green.
SS just said it was LR and late pressure by Leeds
Great save by Rob Green off a header from Whickham off the free kick from Mowatt then Whickham had a shot blocked.
MUR posted a picture of Elland Road for good luck, but the match is at Loftus Road today.
Come on!
Correct.Leeds have dominated possession the last few minutes.
Sorry about that. I had trouble finding pictures.
A draw means that QPR will have gone five matches without a win. Poor , considering the players they have.
Mowatt gets a yellow for a challenge on Doyle now.
Mowatt booked for a foul on Kevin Doyle. Kind of harsh
Whew! Clint Hill has the ball in the net but it's flagged for offside. Phew!

Preview Show on right now
Fulham Chelsea on at 10
It finishes 1-1 and QPR have now gone five matches without a win. Bob should be pleased with this result.
That's it - I'm reasonably satisfied with a point off QPR away. 44 points from 32 matches now. Six points needed now from 14 matches for safety. Six points off the playoffs and five points off last season's pace. We're not going anywhere.
I will be back for the match down the road , a West London Derby.
Teams coming out at the Cottage… not Bob's house but Craven
Back for the match at the Fake Cottage!
Not sure which match to watch!

Of course, this is Bottom vs Top
A great chance for Fulham and clint heads well wide from a great cross.
Shadow is at me… I have to go for a walk
I'll be able to listen to SS on my phone
