This Ticos side reached the quarterfinal stage last time around. Surely that's too much to ask for them this time, right?

To answer your question, I would think that the Ticos due to their age and that the majority of their players seem to be from MLS makes them favorites for the wooden spoon.
That would be my hunch, too, but they were a real surprise package in 2014.
Serbia has players playing in various leagues in Europe , including several in the Prem. They must be favorites today.

After this match I'm going to my sister-in-law's house and I'm going to blog the other two matches on her son's laptop. Also will be watching the next match with some of Elizabeth's relatives from Mexico. Should be an interesting experience

The referees are being really tolerant in this tournament. Borges would have picked up a yellow card in most matches for that cynical tug on the shorts. Not this time.

The players on that team said that Brazil's attitude changed after that match against Italy. They no longer played the Brazilian way... from then on.. they went out to play to not lose
