Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Premiership Plus Predictions Game - Week 28 Update

Happy Monday, everyone! My apologies for not having the time for an update last week during a busy Mid-Term week here in Fred-Town. I'm now enjoying a relaxing Spring Break week, so it's business as usual. As of the Chelsea win over Newcastle this evening, Week 28 came to an end. Arsenal took full advantage of their main rivals' draw with each other to vault up to the top of the league with a late win over Brentford. At the bottom, the same three - Luton, Burnley and Sheffield Utd occupy the relegation spots; however, Luton have a match to spare that might pull Forest and Everton into the mix again.

At the top of the Championship, my beloved Leeds United narrowed the gap with Leicester at the top with an easy win over Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday. It's going to be a grandstand finish in the Championship, with four clubs still in the title mix.

Erling Haaland continues at the top of the goalscoring charts, now with 18 goals. Pascal Gross, Kieran Tripper and Ollie Watkins continue to excel in the assist category with 10 and Ederson and David Raya are now on 10 clean sheets a piece.

That all means that United We Stand remains on top despite the change at the top of the Premier League. That is likely to continue unless Man City claim the top spot. Here are the full standings:

1. United We Stand - 39 points

2. Blue Devil - 33 pts

-  Man Utd Rules - 33 pts

4. MOT the Hoople - 32 pts

-  oticoN - 32 pts

-  Red Dragon - 32 pts

-  Someone Said - 32 pts

8. Bee's Knees - 31 pts

9. Teddy Goalesevelt - 30 pts

10. Red Devil 1FCK - 26 pts

11. Gooner71 - 25 pts

12. West Ham Rising - 24 pts
