Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Very pleased with a 3-1 win. All three goals were great headers. A great equalizer from Vidic with the last touch of the first half. Giggs and Saha second half headers put United through.
With the Celtic loss, United win the group. Is this a good thing? Barcelona and Real are waiting in the wings for a group winner.
Same could be said about The Arse. Group winners with a tough game ahead.
The draw is on December 15(my 16th Wedding Anniversary) I will be spending a romantic weekend with the Mrs. in NYC starting that day.
The Prem had two games. Newcastle go ahead and then fall behind to Reading. They ended up coming back to win 3-2. Their second goal was a very dodgy penalty but they also had a pefectly good goal cancelled out for offside.
Bad news for John, West Ham lose at home to Wigan. In the drop zone for The Hammers.
Congrats on United's progression Davey. Close thing for us. Had kittens seeing those balls caroming back off Lehman's posts in the second half. Flipping Quaresma played like the only guy among the 22 who didn't know to take their foot off the gas.
Good stuff all round for the English. If I'm not mistaken we're the only country that has four quarterfinalists. And if you toss in Celtic....
