Brasil vs. Chile Live!
Okay, the boys from Brasil were frankly pathetic against a chaos-ridden Mexico side the other night. And, if we're honest, they've been pants going all the way back to the 4-1 drubbing of the Argies in the last Copa America in 2005. But you never know what you're going to get, so here's hoping for some jogo bonito this afternoon.

Here's the Brasil side for this afternoon:
1. Doni
2. Melo
3. Costa
4. Maicon
5. Silveira dos Sar
6. Aparecido
7. Da Silva
8. Anderson
9. Elano
10. Robinho
11. Wagner Love
Excellent! We've got Ray Hudson and Phil Schoen on the commentary today.
And we're off! Brazil need a big win here tonight to restore the confidence. They'll be looking for a bright start.
Free kick opportunity staight away for Anderson. And it's deflected.
First corner to Brasil. And the keeper has it. It's obvious though that Brasil have come out looking for a quick start. They're pinging the ball about at will and Chile have barely got out of their own half.
Anderson's not getting a lot of love from the officials so far. He's been called for a couple of fouls, had one waved on and now gets a ticking off from the ref for arguing a call.
Robinho with a thousand step-overs and he earns a free kick just outside the area.
Elano over it....
And it's poor, straight into the wall.
Still no start for Danny Alves, which seems odd given the number of European clubs after him these days.
Shocking defending there from Brazil and Acosta finds Gonzalez in the area and he wastes the header wide.
Brasil with a case of the "Arsenals" here trying to basically walk the ball in.
Juan is lucky to escape a booking there as he cynically chops Gonzalez down.
First corner earned from the resulting free kick. Chile with a real chance here....
And Brasil clear.
Juan with another rash challenge and he's got a last warning. Lucky not to already be on a yellow.
After the bright start from Brasil, Chile have come out and played some decent stuff.
Anderson went down like a sack of spuds there. You don't want to see that at United next season.
Dunga's not happy with the performance from Anderson so far, who has taken Diego's spot today.
Maicon is tripped up there earning the Chilean the first yellow card, but it looks like the Brazilian may have to come off.
And here comes Danny Alves. So now we have the same side that finished strongly against Mexico the other night. I'm still not sold on the front pairing of Wagner Love and Robinho though.
Gonzalez again with a low shot that's well held by Doni.
Suazo picks up a yellow for a nasty looking two footed tackle.
Good stuff from Ray Hudson comparing Suazo to Mussolini.
And it's a pen for Brasil. Brave decision from the ref. A cross takes a deflection and Wagner Love crumbles under a challenge in the six-yard box.
Robinho over the penalty.....
Whew, it's slotted just under the keeper's arm to the right. Wow, you can hear the relief from the Brazilian bench from here.
The Chileans are losing their nuts on the bench. First the ref has a word with the coach Acosta and now the backup keeper has picked up a card.
Now it's Danny Alves who's gone down heavily. It's Jara who hacked him and he's already on a card. Very lucky boy.
Mark Gonzalez again gets a yard of space in the six box but he'll want that one back.
Decent stuff by Brasil there. Good ball from Anderson to Robinho who rounds the keeper catching him off his line. He lofts it in and it's wasted over the bar byy Mineiro.
Half-time: Well, Brazil will likely go on and win this one now, but it's hardly been an impressive performance. They'll receive a beating from the Argies with this side.
Second half starting....
Lorca has come on for Chile, perhaps for Jara.
If this result holds up, we'll have Brasil, Chile and Mexico on three points and we'll have to see what happens with Mexico and Ecuador tonight.
From a U.S. perspective, we'll probably be looking for a big Mexico win to kill off Ecuador's hopes.
Mineiro picks up a yellow card for a cynical bit of should obstruction. This is certainly not the jogo bonito.
Valdivia's giving the Brazilian backfour some real headaches and he's not shy about going to ground in the box either.
Julio Baptista seems to have come on for Brasil. Not sure who he replaced. Perhaps Anderson?
That's the best we've seen from Wagner Love. He took a Baptista through ball early and spanked it goalbound.
Robinho is going into the book for protesting. It seems the referee Torres is a bit sick of the Brazilian diving at this point.
Suazo was nearly in there for Chile. He probably held on to it a bit too long and allowed several defenders to get back on the line to clear it.
Chile still have some life left in them and judging by how they came from behind to win the other night, they could still torture Brazil.
GOAL - 2-0 Brazil! Wagner Love settles a ball at the edge of the area before dishing off to Robinho who dinks it over the keeper for the second and killer goal.
GOAL! Robinho gets his hat-trick and saves his best for last. A lovely, lovely goal brings an ordinary game to a sparkling conclusion. He takes a long ball in midfield, hits it ahead and runs by one, jinks inside onto his left foot and slots home.
Full-time: 3-0 Brazil. In the end, a flattering scoreline. It was only when the game began to spread out at the end that Brazil and especially Robinho sprang to life. They'll have to do better to beat Argentina.
