Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

England U-21's in Penalty Loss Shock

No, certainly not that England even at the U-21 levels can't win a penalty shoot-out. This one took 32 tries to sort out. Psycho must have been next on the list for this one.

You know I was following this one on-line and the amusing thing was that they went through one full rotation and were half-way through the second when England finally succombed. For example, Matt Derbyshire and Anton Ferdinand scored their first pens and first their second efforts. Poor Steven Taylor had limped off injured but was forced by Dutch protests to the ref to hobble back on - and he bloody scored! It sounded like pandemonium. Looking forward to seeing it on FSC.
