We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

2007/8 Fixtures!


I know it may seem as if the 2006/7 season just ended, but the new season is just around the corner. As if to prove this, the FA have just released the fixture list for 2007/8. The highlights of the first weekend (August 11/12) include:

Arsenal vs. Fulham
Chelsea vs. Birmingham
ManYoo vs. Reading
Villa vs. Liverpool
West Ham vs. Citeh

In the Coke, Blubber will have Ipswich vs. Sheffield Wednesday to look forward to.

And of course, there's the big 'un. The Mighty Leeds United kicking off their first match in the Coca Cola League Division One away to Tranmere Rovers - sigh.
