Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I'll be there! Hope you're having fun in Scotia.
On the last day of the season I'll need a Newcastle-like miracle to make up 55 points on the league leader KatzFC. Here are my picks for today:
Arsenal 2 Stoke 0
Villa 1 Newcastle 2
Blackburn 1 WBA 0
Fulham 1 Everton 1
Hull 0 ManYoo 2
Liverpool 2 Spurs 0
Citeh 0 Bolton 0
Sunderland 0 Chelski 2
West Ham 1 Boro 0
Wigan 1 Pompey 1
Wish me luck!
I'll have any equation that results in Hull going down.
Agreed. Howay the lads!
Alan Shearer has consigned his mate wee Mikey to the bench in favor of Viduka and Martins up front for the most important match in yonks for Newcastle.
FSC is wrapping up its coverage of the five goal thriller from the San Siro between Milan and Roma. Up next - United at Hull with a much weakened side.
The teams are coming out at Villa Park. I've got a great Setanta stream up through MyP2P. Dave's got the Sky 3 stream up through VSS on his computer and it's a multi-media fest here in Scotia.
Early throw for Newcastle.
I'll join the chat as soon as I find the Arse.
Coloccini's been roasted twice by Milner early on. Not a promising start for the Magpies.
Bright start by Hull at the KC Stadium as they force a couple of corners in succession against Man Utd.
FSC are finally starting the match on the box almost ten minutes behind. Shocking!
Well, nothing doing for Arsenal coverage so I think I'll go upstairs and watch United beat Hull.
Oh, cleared off the line by Villa.
Yeah, Gooner, we can't find anything for Arsenal either.
First goal of the day
Citeh 1 Bolton 0
Caicedo with the goal
Still very ticked off that FSC start their coverage 10 minutes late!!
Martins hits the ball over the bar
Should have done better
Newcastle doing well
Goal #2 of the day
Arsenal 1 Stoke 0
Beattie with the own goal
James Beattie has scored an o.g.
Arsenal into the lead 1-0.
Sorry, Dave!
Ashley Young looks hurt. No, he's alright.
Good save by Harper
Second at the Em
RVP with a pen
Dave's refreshing the page now.
Bob's picking his nose now
Where is the CIA?
GOAL - ARSENAL 3 STOKE 0. The Gunners are running riot! Abou Diaby rising unchallenged to head home Van Persie's free-kick.
3-0 to the Arse
MAN UTD HAVE SCORED!!
GIBSON WITH A BRILLIANT GOAL!!
Of course, FSC haven't shown it yet
GO LIVE!
The Newcastle fans are celebrating so apparently United have scored. FSC are still seven minutes behind the action. Cue the hate mail to Max Bretos.
It should have been 2-0 but Federico Macheda misses from 10 yards out.
Wigan take the lead against Pompey
Wallop, that is a hell of a strike from Gibson. FSC have finally caught up with the action.
FSC finally get to the goal
What a crack from Gibson
Hugo Rodallega opens the scoring for the Latics at the JJB Stadium.
Stolke get a goal back
and Costa have taken the lead
Half an hour gone - Hull 0 Man Utd 1, Villa 0 Newcastle 0, Sunderland 0 Chelsea 0, West Ham 0 Boro 0 in the crucial games at the bottom. Still 0-0 in the games that matter in the race for seventh too. Hull are going down as it stands.
Torres with the Costa goal
The Newcastle link has frozen
Carlton Cole has scored a rare goal for the Hammers in the 33rd minutes.
1-0 Hammers and Boro are dead and buried.
FSC are lingering on every shot of a crying kid in Hull colors that they can find.
Damien Duff scores an own goal!!
Dave has too many windows open to handle.
I'm handling them fine thank you very much
The Arse are 4-1 up
Van Persie with a brace.
in the first half!
Bob thinks he should leave the Em
Wee Mikey is looking despondent on the bench. He'll have to come on in the second half if things stay the same.
Everton have taken the lead late at Fulham
Not good news for the Cottagers and a place in the Europa League
It's all well and good scoring a brace in the last game of the season against Stoke when it doesn't matter. Where was RVP in the semi finals?
Martins hits a free header wide
Half time at Villa Park and Shearer trudges off wondering why he didn't stay at Auntie Beeb.
Malouda hits the post at the Stadium of Light
Half time at Villa Park
As things stand, Newcastle and Boro join West Brom in the Championship while Fulham will claim the final Europa League place.
FSC better catch up at half time
Bob, I expect a perfectly constructed letter sent to FSC to complain
Nicolas Anelka needs to score one in order to claim the Golden Boot from Cristiano Ronaldo.
I'll get right on it.
FSC haven't caught up. They are still going to be behind
HOPELESS
There is a guy dressed up as a nun in the Toon crowd.
Divine Intervention is needed
Here come the teams at Villa Park
Come on Toon
The teams are coming back out at Villa Park. Newcastle need a right old miracle in the second half. No changes yet.
Of course, FSC are still at commercials
FSC have made up a little time. Still over a minute behind the Villa game
Chelski have taken the lead at Sunderland
FSC are back. They've made up a few minutes during the half time interval but they're still slightly behind the action.
Anelka has got his goal. He'll be top scorer in the Prem.
Anelka with the Chelski goal. He will now be the Golden Boot winner unless Ron has a strop and gets to come on in the latter stages
Pretty tough with not even being on the bench
Sunderland and Boro have both tied it up
Newcastle starting to defend like normal...useless
All Villa at the moment
Milner, who started the season at St. James', almost scores
The Toon going to make a change and it isn't Wee Mikey
Shearer needs to make a change soon. I'd say Butt and Duff off and Owen and that young kid up front with Viduka and Martins.
Hi Dave and Bob .
CIA here . I just got back from the
Worlington Village Fete . Great weather . Loads of people there . Good fun .
Hope Dave's taking care of you Bob .
Hey Tony
Wish I could have been there too.
Hi Tony - it's been great fun this weekend in Scotia.
The Hammers have taken the lead again against Championship-bound Boro
Wish I could have been there .
Newcastle have done NOWT this half
Great half time talk Alan!!!
Wee Mikey about to come on
Be a hero Michael, be a hero
I still think Owen should be on the bench for England. Show Fabio what you can do Michael
Still nothing happening for Newcastle. This is a sad capitulation for the Toon Army.
I agree - Owen should be in the England squad but he's not been helping his cause.
Costa are two up
Kuyt with the goal
Fulham...say hello to Europe!
HE WILL TODAY
Tasty free kick opportunity for Hull City here.
I guess Hutton scored an OG at Anfield
Let's hope so. Come on, wee Mikey. I want to see a somersault from you.
Duff must be on the take by Hull!
He scored an OG then gives the ball away and Barry almost buries Newcastle
You told me he did that only on the hat-trick goal. Although this would mean more than any hat-trick goal
Blackburn down to ten men
Roberts for violent conduct
There are some right little plonkers in the Hull stands.
15 minutes to the drop!!
Perhaps Owen would perform a somersault today if he scored the vital goal that kept the Toon up?
CIA is being the CIA!!
Makes one comment then buggers off!!
Viduka goes off. I would have kept him on!
I'm loving the Hull fans, especially the down-market Hull City Elvis impersonator.
Chelski have taken the lead again
Kalou with Chelski's second
Almost curtains for the Toon
Carew whiffs on a cross
Almost curtains for the Toon. Carew whiffs on a cross.
Keano has scored at Anfield
TAKE THAT RAFA
I caught that comment Dave . Sorry
I'm a bit busy .
Costa extend their lead
Their little Israeli with the goal
Cashley score for Chelski
Tony
Kathy says hello
Desperation stations for the Toon now. They look all but down.
Nani with a scorcher there, well saved by Myhill.
Osman scores his second for the future Cup Winners!! (Just for you Tony)
Sunderland 2 Chelski 3
a minute to added time at Villa Park
Jones with the goal for Sunderland
HaHa . Dave .
Send my love to Kathy as well .
4 added minutes
Come on Toon
4 added at the KC too
2 to go
Will do tony
Citeh, Wigan, Chelskia and Everton all win
It is almost over for Newcastle
They can't get the ball
It is over
They are DOWN!!!
A sad day indeed in the Northeast with Newcastle and Boro both going down. Sunderland have survived, though, and they'll be enjoying the evening bragging rights along with Hull City fans.
And it's over at Hull. They've lost but they're delighted nonetheless. Dancing on the pitch and in the stands.
Unbelievable for Newcastle!!
So, the Premier League is over!!
United Champions
CL
Costa, Chelski and maybe Arsenal
Europa League
Everton, Villa and FULHAM!!
Going down
West Brom, Boro and NEWCASTLE!
Talk to you guys later . Real shame
about Newcastle .
Take care .
