Bret Michaels Meets Prop of Love

Leaving aside the issue of why exactly hair band Poison were invited to perform at the Tony's on Sunday night, viewers were left with the indelible image of lead singer Bret Michaels (yes, he of "Rock of Love" fame) meeting the business end of a wooden prop, thus setting up a decent one-liner for the Doogie Howser guy. Ah, that explains it. I had forgotten that rock and pop music has recently infiltrated Broadway in a big way with the shows based on Queen, Billy Joel and Abba. Give me "South Pacific" any day.
