Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

I'll be taking off to pick up KC at the airport in the middle of the first half. I'm hoping for a reaaaallly boring 0-0 draw tonight.
Bloody hell - 8:30 has come and gone and they're still lined up around the center circle faffing about. When is this match going to kick off?
The teams:
Chicago - Busch, Prideaux, Robinson, Brown, Woolard, Pause, Rolfe, Thorrington, Blanco, Pappa, McBride
Revs - Reis, Osei, Barnes, Alston, Heaps, Laurentowicz, Joseph, Mansally, Dube, Jankauskas
Looks like an 8:45 pm kickoff here. I'm going to get about fifteen minutes. (sigh)
Looks like Laurentowicz is tucking in next to Joseph for a solid two defensive mid outfit.
Very scrappy opening to the match. That suits us. No rhythm at all so far.
Nyassi sells a foul nicely on the right. A chance to swing a dangerous free kick over early doors.
Mansally drives it drive to Busch. A bit of a waste.
Another early chance here for Barnes to lob in a long throw.
The ball is taking some strange bounces off the turf. Is it grass or astro?
First corner for the Revs. It's all us so far.
Good crowd noise going in Chi-town.
Uh oh,
2 nil down in injury time
I just noticed that Jon Busch is a Guilderland Grad.
I coached against him in High school
Chicago Fire have won
Sorry mate
Cheers, mate. Wasn't to be. It was either leave the missus in the baggage area or watch the Revvies win. Ah well....
