We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!
There is no official England World Cup song this year, which means that there are a billion wannabe Ant and Dec's out there on YouTube with their offerings. "Sing it for England" is the most passable effort I've seen so far. It's certainly no "Vindaloo" or "Three Lions," but it gets the "England's Dreaming" wistfulness and passion right. Enjoy!

The chorus is good and works as a terrace chant. Decent effort.
