Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Would he have the nerve to show up at the El? I can't believe your current board would invite him. Seems like a riot in the making and Yorkshire police will be in battle gear.
I think he'll be there. And remember that the last time the two teams did play a couple of seasons ago in the Carling Cup, there was a full-riot pitch invasion of Cardiff fans at their place with Sam Hammam egging them on. It might get out of hand today.
Wow - there is coverage of the match today on Fox Soccer Plus! I've got the stream up here:

Here are the sides for this evening's match:
Leeds: Schmeichel, Connolly, Bruce, Collins, McCartney, Snodgrass, Faye, Howson, Johnson, Becchio, Somma. Subs: Brown, Gradel, Kilkenny, Clayton, Hughes, Bromby, Nunez.
Evil: Heaton, McNaughton, Hudson, Gyepes, Naylor, Burke, Olofinjana, Whittingham, Bellamy, Chopra, Bothroyd. Subs: Marshall, Rae, McPhail, Keogh, Koumas, Blake, Wildig.
The best news is that Kasper Schmeichel is back between the sticks for us for the first time in over a month.
Marching on together....we're going to see you win!!!
La la la!
Come on you Leeds boys!
The pre-match festivities over, we're ready to get started.
And unfortunately, the link has gone down based on "copyright claim." Ouch!
I'm back up and going on this link:

We will win, we will win, we will win!
The commentator is mentioning the last two home defeats. Put a sock in it!
I have to admit, I'm more than a little nervous about the Cardiff attacking four - Bellamy, Burke, Bothroyd and Chopra - going at our makeshift back four.
Might be the last match for George McCartney in a Leeds shirt. He's due back in Sunderland at the weekend. And he did really well there to get the ball across the area toward Becchio.
According to the commentators, Yorkshire Police have thrown a late roadblock up in order to prevent a further 10K Cardiff fans getting up to the match.
Tight as a tick so far. Not a lot of flowing football out there.
Somma goes down looking for a free kick but the referee didn't see the tug on the shirt.
We've got a 25 year old referee tonight. Wow!
I'd forgotten that Bellamy did a runner to Cardiff. I have to admit that I reasoned that Mancini would have thrown him on yesterday, but for some injury I'd not heard about.
Crikey! That is some forward line for a Championship side.
C'mon you Leeds!
Ten minutes gone and precious few chances so far. The Cardiff attacking threat so far snuffed down good and proper.
Jim'll, Jim'll, Jim'll Fix It!
Yeah - it definitely is. I expect them to go up this season.
Oh - first real chance there. A corner over from Snoddy and Alex Bruce is first to it. It nearly crept in the far post and there were two players sniffing around for a late touch as well.
Don't want that.
Cardiff going up that is. I'm fine with Snoddy and Bruce going close. I'd be better if one of 'em had turned it in.
This is good pressure from the boys now. Another corner to us. Outswinger this time and Bruce gets to it again. He's got that knack from deadball situations that his dad also had at ManYoo.
I'm afraid we're going to have at two or three big money Championship clubs going up - certainly QPR and likely Cardiff.
First free kick for Cardiff now. Whittingham over it. Into the wall - lovely!
Cardiff still haven't been able to link the midfield with the attacking four. Good stuff from Jonny Howson on that account.
Cool with QPR. Cardiff? Don't like 'em or their fans. Add Ridsdale to it, no-bloody-thanks.
A bit risky from Collins there but it was a bit of flair from the center back to turn away from Bothroyd.
I agree with you, Gooner. You wouldn't relish a trip to Cardiff for the Gunners next season, would you?
I'd love to see one of the East Anglian clubs go up, probably Norwich.
Jonny Howson tries a pop but it's well wide from the young skipper.
Kasper makes his first save of the night. Olofinjana with a comfortable strike.
Somma is full of confidence these days. He seems to want to hit a shot whenever he gets it.
Bradley Johnson gets a nice knock-on but Somma couldn't get on the same wavelength.
AH BUGGGGGGGERRRRRRRR!
What a calamity! A long kick out from their keeper, three defenders let it bounce, Kasper takes his eye off it and it trickles through for Bothroyd to roll home.
0-1 Evil!
Stevie Bruce sitting in the stands is shown shaking his head in disbelief at that mistake from the kid. He let the ball bounce, the cardinal sin for central defenders.
Ah - Somma connected well with Becchio but the Argentine hit a simple shot with his left. Should have pulled it back from that angle.
The shame of it is that we'd really closed the Cardiff front line down up until that moment and then one mistake has undone the good work.
Come on!
Crap.
Oh - Collins did well to block Bothroyd's shot from Bellamy's center. Unfortunately the evil ones are looking like they have their tails up now.
We'll need a goal back in the next fifteen minutes or so.
Better pressure there. The crowd's starting to get back behind the lads.
Oh - Burke streaked down the right wing and put over a great ball. Bruce did well to clear it.
Snoddy did well to get to the header but it was completely miss-timed.
Oh - great strike from Bellamy but Kasper got down to it well.
Half an hour gone now. We need a goal.
Good stuff from Bellamy again but Bruce tied him up well.
Bothroyd went over the ball on that one against Becchio but to his credit he rolled straight back up. What a great pro! That was a leg-breaking tackle, that was.
Becchio's still laboring a bit.
Bothroyd got through on goal and was a bit greedy there. Chopra is livid at his strike partner.
I actually hadn't realized until now that Bothroyd started at Arsenal. Apparently he was released for "non-footballing reasons." A bit of a chav, then?
Oh - Howson did well to get to the by-line but got tangled up when he had the chance to cross.
We need a howler from their keeper to even things up, eh?
Bradley Johnson did so well to get the better of his marker but then smashed his cross over with too much force.
Sky are advertising 3-D football coming up, including Arsenal v. Newcastle at St. James's. Do we really need to have the sensation of Joey Barton coming at us?
Five minutes left of the half now. Would love to see a goal buzz in for us right about now.
Oh, I'd like a little bit of Cesc in my house.
Johnson bombs through the middle and lets fly. Miss-timed and well wide.
Would you now?!
Speaking of Fabregas, do you know that Canadian hip hop wanker Drake? If not, take a look - total look-alike with Cesc. Separated at birth.
Bellamy slices us open again. Squares to Bothroyd but Collins blocks well.
No way. There's no-one as dreamy as Cesc.
Half-time: 0-1 Cardiff.
We really haven't played that badly. Should really be 0-0. Cardiff haven't been as tough to live with as I'd imagined. I'll expect better in the second half.
The teams are back out at Elland Road. Hoping for a good, strong start to the half for us.
Oh - a header is cleared off the line. Terrific stuff from Jonny Howson.
Burke gets in behind McCartney but Howson again gets a great block in.
Whittingham goes into the book for a cynical little trip on Snoddy. Good position for a strike on goal here.
Great hit from Snoddy. Heaton did well to tip over. Corner.
BUGGGGERRRRRRRR!
Michael Chopra makes it 0-2. They caught us on the break and Chopra was clinical. Kasper might have done better to tip that around.
We'll really have to dig deep now, as the fans are with a ringing "MOT."
Gary Birtles thinks that the match is settled. Not so fast, mate.
Oh - great ball across from Bradley Johnson but neither striker was raising through to tip it in.
Damn. Every time that I come back from a call it's bad news.
First change from Simon Grayson. New boy Ramon Nunez on for Davide Somma, who in truth has had a rather quiet evening.
BUGGGGERRRRRRRR!
Our home nightmares continue. Poor defending there, pure and simple. Burke knocks the ball over and no one is marking Bothroyd - only the top scorer in the bloody league - and he taps it in the top corner Spanish style. 0-3.
Despite the hammering, I am liking the look of this Nunez kid. Full of running and plenty of class.
I've just come back from setting up my late class and it's bloody 0-4!
Honestly!
It was Naylor with the fourth, if you're curious. Teed up by Bellamy, natch.
Ten minutes left of this dross and I'm off to class. I've had enough. This is truly a kick in the balls to start off the week.
Really sorry mate.
Cheers, mate. I'm back at my class break. 0-4 at the final whistle. To be honest, it might has well have been 8-nil. From the moment that that first goal went in, we weren't in it.
It leaves us in 16th place, still comfortably off the dropzone with 17 points - six points better than Boro. 33 points to get - that's the point.
