We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

He'd do well teaching the shin-splinterer to the youngsters, that's for sure.
I'm not really sure what his intent in this sort of statement is. As a simple hard truth, there's nothing here that we haven't read before. I wonder if this is to create that necessary divide between Ginga Ninja the player and Ginga Ninja the coach who in the near future will be brought in to see over the +25 year old (then) Fabios and others that he played with. Or is it him setting out his stall for a weekly column in some rag? Curious and interesting stuff.
He is spot on. There was not one single lie or exaggeration from thr Ginger Prince.
