Champions League Semi Finals Live!
We star the semi-final process in the Champions League this afternoon and I couldn't be happier. Not only am I settling in after my morning class to watch it live from Blue Devil HQ but I've also managed to skive off a day-long assessment workshop. If you're skiving too, join me for the usual LOB madness.

This is a classic match-up today between arguably the two best sides on the planet. Here is the team news:
Bayern Munich: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba; Schweinsteiger, Martinez; Robben, Muller, Ribéry; Gomez
Barcelona: Valdes; Alves, Bartra, Pique, Alba; Xavi, Busquets, Iniesta; Pedro, Messi, Alexis.
A number of advantages for the Catalan side today. I always fancy playing at home in the second leg, as they will next week.
Also - the preparation for Bayern has been complicated by Bayern boss Uli Hoeness being brought up on tax evasion charges. The side has also announced an impending deal for Mario Gotze. That will affect Dortmund's preparation for tomorrow's clash with Real but might also upset things in the dressing room for Bayern.
Kick-off time - let's hope it's a free flowing classic.
Great attack down the right through Robben. He was in one-on-one with Valdez who did well to save with his feet.
Good afternoon, BD. We just started lunch due to TAAKS testing.Time to look for the usual link
I reckon that Robben should have hit that one first time with his right peg.
The link loaded and I missed only the first four and a half minutes.,
Back with another link after the first one wasn't working still 0-0 ten minutes in.
Neither team is really creating anything . Barca have been playing their normal shot passing possession game.
Bayern win a corner off of Pique.
Bayern had a case for a penalty as shot form Lahm came off of Pique's arm. They had a fair shout.
Another Bayern corner and Robben takes it short and it comes to nothing as the offside flag is up.
Twenty minutes played and still 0-0. The only incident of note was Bayern appealing for a penalty when a shot form Lahm came off of Pique's arm.
Another Bayern corner as Alba failed to keep the ball in and it comes to nothing as a foul on Victor Valdes is called.
Bayern win a corner off a long ball and
GOAL 1-0 BAYERN AS THE CORNER FROM RIBERY WAS HEADED ON AND THOMAS MUELLER HEADED IN AT THE FAR POST
I think it was Dante who headed on the corner for Mueller to score.
Biscuits is called for a foul in midfield and Bayern players want a card.
Corner to Barca that is easily cleared.Messi has been really quiet up to this point.
Hiya, MUR - sorry to be off-line. A mate of mine just popped over for a couple of beers and the match.
Another Bayern corner. They scored last time. Not this time , but a header from Danete appeared to come off a Barca hand and out for another corner. Robben took from the opposite side and a Bayern player failed to connect
No Prob, BD. I hope you have been enjoying the match. That looked a good case for a penalty. Barca have got away with two.
I will be around till halftime then I will have a class starting.
Muelller wins a corner off of Alba.
The corner from Robben fails to beat the first man.
Super Mario goes into the book for a challenge on Messi. If it had been anyone else a card probably would not have been given
A Barca player has been booked for a rash challenge.
I am surprised that Oliver Neuer has not been forced to make one single save with just a minute plus stoppage time remaining till the half.
Barca win a corner.
They keep possession then a horrible pass from Danny Alves.
Into stoppage time. It's halftime and a deserved 1-0 lead for Bayern . Barca should not have any complaints as Bayern were denied two penalties.
I will not be around for the second half since I have class. CHEERS!
Sorry i wan't around!!
I was at a wake!
WOW... LUV TO SEE BARCA KNOCKED DOWN A PEG
Let's have another German winner tomorrow

BORUSSIA DORTMUND 4 REAL MADRID 1
