An odd one as the U.S put together about 40 passes that ended because Clint had something in his eye. He seems to be okay,

Another U.S. corner. Zusi to take and it is easily cleared by Montes. Then a great cross from Michael Bradley and Clint completely misses the ball as he had a chance to head the U.S. in the lead.
Carlos Costly is down injured . Gamesmanship or cramp? Ian thinks it's a calf injury as Costly is done for the match and leading scorer, Jerry Bengtson, was not even included in the squad. Who will lead the Honduran line?
Roger Rojas is on for the injured Costly. Will it prove costly to the Hondurans?
Arnold Perralta is booked for a foul on JJ just outside the box off a great solo run on a great counter. Perralta will be suspended for their next match , in Mexico.

Correct . We lost 21- away to Honduras in our opening Hex match back in February . Since then, the U.S have been undefeated.

YES! The U.S grind out a 1-0 win vs a thuggish Honduran side. A priceless three points and the U.S are five points clear.
Next u is a Confeds Cup double header tomorrow as Brazil takes on Mexico followed by Italy vs Japan.
