Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Halftime and 1-0 to Brazil thanks to a goal by Neymar in the third minute. A cross by Marcello was chested down by Fred, but replays showed it might have grazed his arm. Minutes later Julio Cesar did well to push a free kick that was "driven" by Honda. Also , late in the first half a shot by Hulk nearly crept inside the near post , but hit the side netting.
GOAL!!! 2-0 BRAZIL AS A LOW SHOT BY pAOLINHO WAS PUSHED BY THE KEEPER INTO THE ROOF OF THE NET . poor keeping , BUT A GREAT PASS BY DANNY ALVES AND GREAT BRAZILIAN PASSING. SCORED IN THE THIRD MINUTEE OF THE SECOND HALF.
Japan attack from the off and Nakazaki nearly scored as he shot just wide.
Maeda is on for Kiyaotake as Japan make their first substitution./
Brazil win 3-0 as substitute, Jo,the Citeh reject , scored the third in the last minute of stoppage time. It all started in the back as the ball broke to Oscar. He played a superb through ball and Jo shot under the keeper.
A comfortable win for Brazil without really hitting top gear. Tomorrow starts with Mexico vs Italy at 3 PM EDT followed by Spain vs Uruguay at 5 PM EDT. Hope you can join me.
CHEERS!
