Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Afternoon, MUR - thanks for the post! I'm with you for the time being.
Stoke seem to be drawing on the Tony Pulis blueprint so far.
Interesting to see how easily Geoff Cameron has fit into this system.
I don't have video, but I have audio.
My pleasure , Bob. Sorry I didn't post a picture, but I was unsuccessful from the school computer.
Finally got video at the third attempt. Still the same boring, predictable Moyes tactics.
Young falls down easily under a challenge form Cameron. Sound familiar?
Also a match in the Championship as Not a Big Club hosts Wigan
SPEED IT UP UNITED!
I've seen mules play with more pace!
Great down the left by Wellie then Palacios tackles Wellie to prevent a corner
A rare Stoke attack as Assaidi, the hero vs Chelsea , curls an effort high and wide.
Young wins a corner off of Cameron amidst a chorus of boos and wanker. An Atrocious corner from Young that finds absolutely nobody.
United are starting to dominate now.
Gordon Banks in attendance at the match. He will not be impressed by what he has seen.
Crouch won a loose ball in the United box and a cross be Pieters was headed out by Evra for a Stoke corner that came to nothing.
Cleverley has a shot easily saved by Sorensen as the Stoke defense failed to clear.
Bob will be pleased that Wigan have taken the lead at Hillsborough.
Evra and Valencia have shown that they cannot cross a ball.
Very pleased.
Oh - my word, the ref has abandoned the match due to the hale!
Miserable conditions in England with a driving rain and gale force winds. Now turning into a downpour and now a wintry mix.
Correct. Senor Clattenburg has temporarily delayed the match
Mark Walters needs to shut it. Let the ref decide when to resume the match and stay away from the United dugout.
I guess we can go to Shite Fart Lane to watch the other quarterfinal.
Mark Walters is a real moron. The only player out on the pitch as everyone else had the good sense to go to the dressing rooms. Not exactly an academic.
I am loading a link for Spuds vs Hammers due to the delay at the Brittania.
I have French audio, but no video from SFL.
Have video at the fourth attempt from SFL. ADE finds Row Z off a pass from Kyle Walker.
Gonner and Johnno are snickering as Tim Sherwood is caretaker manager
Audio in English Ade is tackled for a Spurs corner. Taken short as a cross from LUFC Academy is headed out and the Hammers win a free kick.
They're back on even if Clattenburg didn't look like he fancied it. He looks as if he's rather be at home in his favorite chair with his feet up having a warm cocktail.
I wonder if Stoke vs United has resumed. Two minutes plus stoppage time till halftime of this borefest.
No goals in the other one between managerless Spurs and the Hammers.
Typical Clattenburg! THANKS FOR THE UPDATE.
Tim Sherwood is managerless, to the amusement of Gooner and Hammers fans.
Dafoe can't pass.
One minute of stoppage time.
Dafoe blasts a shot to Row Q from a lengthy possession.
Halftime and 0-0 from what looks like a really horrible first half from SFL. Back to the Brittania.
Off to a meeting for a tick - be back soon!
Still 0-0 from the Brittania as I actually have video.
Cheers mate. Hope you will be back soon.
Halftime and Wigan one up at Hillsborough in a Championship match.
Halftime in an FA CUP Second Round replay and it's
Crawley 0 Bristol Rovers 0
Palacios down injured and that will delay halftime further.
Young heads straight to Sorensen off a decent cross from Raffa. Nice dummy from Valencia.
Anderson fouls whelan from about thirty yards out
The Free kick from Glen Whelan was about two feet over. Two minutes of stoppage time.
Valencia wins a United corner.
A driving corner from Cleverley was headed across by Smalling and came off the surprised Johnny not on the spot and straight to Sorensen.
Halftime and 0-0 from the Brittania.
The second half is underway from the Brittania where the weather has been more interesting than the footie. The weather is much calmer at this time.
Pathetic cross from Raffa to ruin what was for once a nice United possession.
A nice cross from Geoff Cameron was just too high for Walters
Valencia has a shot blocked for a corner as wellie held up the ball.
Evra heads wide from the corner taken by Cleverley.
High and wide by Glenn Whelan, who was a Citeh trainee back in the day
Useless effort by Anderson.
Raffa is just as poor at crosses as Valencia. Chicha about to come on.
Chicha on for the useless Anderson as Moyes is going for the win and rightly so.
Ade gives Spurs the lead vs the Hammers
Young wins a free kick off of Ireland and Marc Wilson heads out a cross from Valencia for a corner.
Wellie heads high and wide off the corner from Young.
Arnautovic is on for Assiaidi and
GOAL !!!
YOUNG OF ALL PEOPLE GIVES UNITED THE LEAD.
Chicha held up the ball and his shot pass was hammered home by Young from about 25 yards out. Sorensen got a hand to the shot , but could only divert the shot to the roff of the net.
Chicha wins a corner off of Shawcross.
Finally, Young has done something positive for United and about bloody time.
Johnny Evans heads wide from a corner from Young , but a foul was called against United.
Palacios slices a shot well wide off a blocked shot.
Stoke won a corner as they are starting to dominate.
Matty Jarvis ties it up for the Hammers at SFL. Johnno will be pleased. ET at the Lane?
Wlaters has a shot deflected over by Evans for a corner. The corner from Arnautovic is headed away by wellie.
Bob will be pleased that Wigan have won 0-1 at Wednesday on a Wednesday. Any day of the week will due.
The Hammers have gone 1-2 up at SFL as Maiga has given them the lead. Two goals in five minutes for the Hammers. Johnno delighted and Gooner amused.
Confusion for Stoke as Charlie Adam is on for either Shawcross or Palalcios and it's eventually Shacross off as Palacios had initially gone to the bench, but returned to the pitch
YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
EVRA PUTS UNITED TWO UP WITH A LOVELY FINISH WITH A CURLER IN THE UPPER 90 FROM HIS WEAKER RIGHT FOOT AFTER A NICE ONE TWO WITH YOUNG.
Now United need to preserve the lead for fifteen minutes and they are through to the semis.
Both United goals came seconds after Stoke made a substitution. Sparky looking none too clever.
Fletch about to come on as Raffa wins a corner taken by Young and far too high for anyone.
Fletch on for Wellie.
United fans chanting " There's only one Darren Fletcher." Lovely Jubbly.
A cross from Valencia not cleared and off of Chicha and straight to Sorensen
A corner from Arnautovic headed away and Ireland volleys up to Row Z. Sparky not amused.
Johnno will be delighted and Gooner amused that the Hammers have won 1-2 at SFL. The Hammers on the semis
The Fa Cup Second Round replay between Crawley and Bristol Rovers has been abandoned . It was 0-0 in the 75th minute
I have to leave for a meeting as United are two up with two minutes plus stoppage time remaining
Cheerio, mate! I'm just back in the office in time to see that United have seen off Stoke 0-2 with a professional display this evening. And a late goal by Maiga has added to Tottenham's woes - West Ham are through to the semis along with United this evening. Well in, mate!
Sorry I missed you guys
