Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The Everton v. Palace match from this afternoon has been postponed due to safety concerns.
A lot of chatter about Mezut Ozil's performance against Pool on Sunday on the Five Live. We'll see what he's got to say about it this afternoon.
All set to go now in the big one.
United get us underway in their all blue change strip.
Oh - RVP was straight in there one-on-one with Sussudio after Arteta fell asleep. Great save!
Giroud with a big chance now! And he's blown it. Crikey - it could be 1-1 already!
Corner chance for United now - cleared out.
Half-way through the first half. After that first five minutes, we haven't had any decent shots on goal.
Finally home and still scoreless at the 24th minute mark
Two games off because of wind!!
Fulham take the lead against Liverpool!
Spurs take the lead at SJP
Wow! An own goal by Kolo Toure has given Fulham the lead at Craven Cottage against high flying Liverpool.
Kolo Toure with the own goal at the Cottage
Welcome, UWS! Glad to have you and your grumpiness on board for the proceedings.
Emmanuel Adebayor has fired Spurs into the lead at the SJP.

Fulham 1-0 Liverpool
"Kolo Toure could not do that again if he tried."
You can't make these things up sometimes. First Kolo Toure cost his side a point with a stray pass at West Brom, and now he's scored an own goal at Craven Cottage. Kieran Richardson drives a fairly harmless ball into the box and the defender inexplicably gets his feet in a tangle and slices his clearance over Simon Mignolet and into the back of the net.
HIYA BD
Who's on top in this one?
Is Mata playing out wide? He is according to Danny Mills on the Beeb… he's wasted out there
Roon loses possession at the top of his own box and wants a foul… never… get back up top!!!
Free kick chance for the Gunners. Arteta to take from the left… hits the wall. How can't professionals beat the first man with a pass
Absolute patheticness by United.. their free kick.. short passes and then lose possession… sigh
Stoke take the lead against Swansea
Crouchie with the goal
It's been even steven so far. RVP and Giroud had great chances one-on-one in the first five minutes. It's been off the boil ever since.
Gibbs down with a head knock.
Crouchie having his nachos again today.
Two matches postponed for "safety reasons" today - cold weather?
I agree with you about Mata - he's better running through the center.
High winds
Building damage winds
Wow!
Don't like the team out there for United
Don't like Clever Boy, Valencia, Smalling...
Sounds like a big clear out in the summer for you lot.
There will be no CL matches to entice big players
Not sure how much we can improve
Just saw the chance from RVP… bloody hell
Roon is too slow!
Useless cross by Rafa!!!!
PATHETIC!!!!!
Uh oh - you're getting grumpier!
I can't take this Bob
United are so bad
No quality
No pace
No hunger
2 added minutes
I feel your pain.
Even Roon is ticked off.
Blow up, ref - this is dire stuff.
Half time
NOt happy
Half time

That's quite enough of that, thank you very much. Off to make some copies.
THREE shots on target from these two teams!
2 for the hosts… absolutely pants
Bugger
Liverpool tie it up
Sturridge
I am off the computer for a bit

I'm back for a bit but I'm goal starved so I may not last.
I wonder what Fergie is making of proceedings?
Oh - cleared off the line by Cleverly! A real chance for the Arsenal.
Just a slight change in tempo from the Gunners now.
Valencia goes into the book for a rash challenge. Is this the breakthrough chance for the Arsenal? No.
Oh - Giroud was inches away from connecting for the first goal. Close call!
Spurs are 0-2 up through goals from Ade and Paulinho.
Stoke and Swansea are at 1-1
Fulham and Liverpool are at 1-1.
The last two days of results have really benefited Citeh most, as they now have a match in hand and are only three points back on Chelski with the best GD in the league.
Oh - RVP's header has been tipped onto the bar by Sussudio. Great save!
Disappointing free kick there from Ozil.
Nearly into stoppage time now.
0-0 at the deaht then. Not really good enough for either side really. A fairly boring game punctuated with one or two big chances and some great goalkeeping.
