Euro 2016 Live!
I'm marooned at work this afternoon, but I'm using the handy guide that Gooner posted here earlier in the week in order to follow the Euro 2016 matches this afternoon. The Republic v. Germany and Norn Ireland v. Greece are about to kick off. Check in here throughout the afternoon if you're watching, eh?

The big news out of Blighty this afternoon is that Jurgen Klopp has arrived on Merseysidel after having agreed to terms with Liverpool F.C. to become their new manager. What are your thoughts, gents?
The teams now lining up for that big Group D clash:
Republic of Ireland: Given; Christie, Keogh, O’Shea, Ward; Walters, McCarthy, Hendrick, Brady; Hoolahan; Murphy. Subs: Forde, McShane, O’Kane, McGoldrick, Pearce, McGeady, Long, Keane, Meyler, Doyle, Gibson, Randolph.
Germany: Neuer; Ginter, Boateng, Hummels, Hector; Gundogan, Kroos; Gotze, Ozil, Reus; Muller. Subs: Leno, Mustafi, Rudy, Schweinsteiger, Schurrle, Can, Volland, Bellarabi, Kramer, Kruse, ter Stegen.
Referee: Carlos Velasco Carballo (Spain)
It’s still all to play for in Group D, where the situation remains tight and confusing. Ireland are third, which would secure them a play-off spot. They are four points above Scotland with two games to go and they could still qualify automatically in second place, which would probably be reliant on them beating Poland on Sunday. Various outcomes are possible....
Bloody hell, Robert Lewandowski has scored for Poland in the second minute against the Jocks. Bad news for Scotland, great news for the Irish.
Wahey - over at Windsor Park, the Northerners have been buoyed by the news out of Hungary that the Faroes have scored! The Northern Irish are top of Group F but more importantly are four points ahead of Hungary in third. With Hungary losing, they now need two goals to put any pressure on the Norn Irish. A draw might well due for them against Greece tonight.
This is incredible stuff. We could easily end up with Wales, Ireland and Norn Ireland - along with England, of course - all in France next summer. Of course that's got a lot to do with the inflated tournament, but still!
So - it's official; Scotland are the worst Home Nations side around.
Half an hour gone at Windsor Park - still 0-0. But more importantly, the Faroes are still winning in Budapest. As it stands, Norn Ireland will go through top of the group!
Half an hour gone at the Aviva - still 0-0. With Poland winning, the Irish really could use a win tonight. Otherwise, it looks like a play-off for them, with a third place finish.
Jacob Sternberg of the Guardian says, "This is becoming an oddly inept game. Both teams are doing some weird things."
The first half draws to a close at the Aviva. Germany were brilliant for 20 minutes and could easily be two or three goals up but the game has rather meandered since then. Ireland’s defending has been desperate at times but they are still in this game. A huge second half awaits us.
Matt Ritchie pulled Scotland level with Poland at the interval.
1-1 at Hampden Park.
Bloody hell - Norn Ireland are 2-0 up and the party is starting at Windsor Park!
The Jocks have turned it around; they're leading 2-1 against Poland now. Great news!
Hungary have equalized in the 67th minutes, but it hardly matters at this point. The Northerners are heading to France.
the Irish eyes are smiling... two big wins for both. The Northerners are going to France and the Southerners have at least in the play offs. A win in Poland would take them there automatically
Speaking of the Poles... DEVASTATION for the Jocks... 2-1 up with 7 seconds of added time to go... a silly foul given away, terrible defending, post hitting, rolling across the goal, Lewy scores again and Scotland are toast... no time for kick off
Shame for the Jocks, but excellent results for the Irish. I expect that both will make the tournament along with Wales and England.
