A decent early chance for PSG as Cavani had a free header that he headed wide off a great cross from Rabiot.
A great PSG possession culminates in a shot from Thiago Motta that is over from about 25 yards out.
GOAL !!! CAVANI GIVES PSG THE LEAD WITH A TAP IN AS THE SPUDS WERE CAUGHT OUT ON A COUNTER. THE LEFT BACK PLAYED A BALL OUT OF HIS BOX TO RABIOT, WHO CAUGHT THE BACK FOUR FLAT FOOTED AND WENT ON A 50 YARD RUN, LAYING IT ON A PLATE FOR CAVANI.
GOAL !!!! ERIKSEN TIES IT UP WITH A SPECTACULAR ROCKET OF A SHOT IN THE UPPER 90 FROM 35 YARDS OUT!!!
The Spuds high press paid dividends as Kyle Walker-Peters won the ball in midfield and two passes later Eriksen scored a spectacular goal
PSG nearly regain the lead as Marquinhos heads just wide from a free kick,
LLoris palms away the ball as Cavani chested down A pass then Pastore blasted the rebound over.
GOAL !!! PSG KEEPER, KEVIN TRAPP WILL WANT THAT BACK AS HE GOT A BACK PASS AND HAD A CLEARANCE THAT CANNONED OFF OF ERIC DIER FOR A SPUDS GOAL . EMBARRASSING FOR THE GERMAN KEEPER.
Thiago Motta holds back Eriksen to prevent a fast break and somehow got away without being booked.

WOW!!!! Twenty second into the second half , PSG keeper, Kevin Trapp was trapped and is sent off for intentional hand ball outside his box.
It came straight off the kickoff and a long ball out of the back caused the German keeper to rush out and he handled out of his box.
Arriola, the sub keeper for PSG, does well to turn around a free kick from Eriksen
The Spuds nearly took the lead as the PSG left back gifted possession and Delle Alli blasted over with just the keeper to beat
Not sure who came off so that the new PSG keeper could come on.
Jese, the new signing from Real, is booked for cynically sandwiching Delle Alli.
Arriola comfortably saves a well struck long range effort from Wanyama.

GOAL !!!! THE SPUDS LEAD 3-2 THANKS TO A SUPERB LONG RANGE SHOT FROM TOBY THAT LANDS IN THE CORNER TO CULMINATE A THIRTY PASS POSSESSION.
Arriola does well to push away a long range effort from Eriksen.
Penalty Spuds as Harry Kane had his shirt pulled by Marquinhos.
GOAL!!! 4-2 SPUDS AS HARRY KANE SMASHES THE PENALTY DOWN THE MIDDLE INTO THE ROOF OF THE NET AS ARRIOLA DOVE THE WRONG WAY.
The Spuds defeat PSG 4-2 in an entertaining match . They were helped by the fact that they played with an extra man for pretty much the entire second half.
Next is the U.S. vs the Ticos from Cowboys Stadium on FS 1
It's technically AT&T Stadium , but the Cowboys play their home games at this venue.

The Ticos look out of sorts , which is surprising that they have come into the match as the in form team of the tournament.
This already seems like a rather cagey affair. Could come down to one goal or another.
I agree - the US are certainly in the ascendancy. Very few chances from the Ticos.
That's how most of the Ticos matches have been with the exception of the match against the cheating French Toast.

I got up early to watch my Arsenal boys get drummed by Chelski, then watched Houston effortlessly stick 3 past the hapless Travis Worra who's tending goal while Hamid gets the rich experience of watching from a bench in Texas. Any competitive FIFA sanctioned international. It's a big punishment because as you point out El Salvador doesn't have so many of those. Romero will be unavailable for some time, as long as a year maybe more. and that's a really thing. And Ceren is their captain. He'll be out a while too with the 3-match ban. But that goal will do nicely. Great finish that I wasn't sure he could get to. Nice run from Dempsey with the ball to give Jozy space to run into.
Dumb as a rock picking up the yellow. He fouls defenders and often will pick up one too many fouls that ends up a yellow.
The US should be able to bolt the door from this point.

Seconds after the superb save by Timmy from Urena, Nagbe passed to Clint , who got past two Ticos players and played a superb through ball to Jozy, who scored with a great finish past the on rushing Pemberton.
The Ticos will be forced out of their shell. The one problem in playing for penalties is being forced to come from behind with not much time remaining.

Wise move by Bruce in this Arena as Zardes is no for the scorer, who is on a yellow and replaced by some one with yellow hair.
It's too bad that Zardes gives away possession so easily. He's exactly the kind of labrador you would want chasing and harrying the Ticos until the final whistle. I know that his engine is why the Mad Hatter is sticking him on but he coughs the ball up too easily.
