We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

As I was posting the thread, it was stated that Chelsea U.S. international. Christian Pulisic for $73 million,a record transfer fee for an American soccer player soccer player. He will be on loan to Dortmund until the end of the season.

Quite a match at the Vitality as there were four goals in half a dozen minutes. Cherries came from two down to make it Desmond thanks to goals from Nathan Ake and Cally Wilson. Two minutes later Ken Serna put the Hornets 2-3 ahead off an assist from Troy Deeney. A minute after that Wee Ryan scored to make it 3-3.
