The Start of Holiday Footie
The festive fixtures actually started yesterday with Liverpool winning 0-2 at Molineaux to remain top of the table. The Gunners defeated Burnley 3-1 at The EM in the early morning match. The 10 AM fixtures include Citeh vs Palace on NBCSN and Chelsea vs the Foxes on CBC. The late one promises to be intriguing as the OGS era begins at United as it's a return to Cardiff for OGS where he had a brief unsuccessful spell in charge. He should expect a hostile reception.. Join me for all the action.

It's the pre-game show on NBCSN while CNBC airing Dr. Ho relieves back pain. Elizabeth prefers CNBC
They're off from SB while it's a moment's silence at the Etihad
Now off from The Etihad.
Nearly the lead for Chelsea off a Brazi connection . Nice long ball from Sideshow Bob and Willian made slight connection as it went wide, being put off by Kasper.
I am here David
I might be in and out until the game in the princinpality
Biggest game of the day.... Fratton Park... Pompey vs Black Cats
Will be a huge crowd there
I think watching City is really boring. Not the same way United USED TO BE boring.
It is the way the other teams play against them
I've turned it over to the Bridge
Baggies take the lead at Rotherham
I’lll be in and out, but thanks for putting this up.
Good morning, Dave. Hope you are enjoying the start of your vacation.
Of course, I find Chelsea boring too
Good morning, Steve. Glad to help./
Could not have come quick enough!
Watching Top of the Pops Christmas show on Gold...love that channel and that website
That's not good news for Bob from the New York Stadium , which is not in New York
Killie take the lead at George Hamilton and are second, behind Celtic on goal difference.
Really ticks me off that Leicester made so many changes against City in the League Cup midweek. Why? They're not going to be relegated. Beat City... then BURTON and you're in a Cup Final!
BLOODY MODERN DAY FOOTBALL
Mine started yesterday, which was us celebrating Jacquelyn's 18th birthday. One Semester left!
I watched a youtube vid of all OGS's goals for United
United played with pace and were direct!! NOTHING IS WRONG GOING FORWARD RIGHT AWAY!!
Leicester fail to get a cross over....shocker
Agreed! And as is nearly did beat Citeh, taking them to penalties
Jon finished his degree at HVCC last week
TERRRIBLE penalties
That must have kept you occupied for hours! Sounds rather entertaining
Congratulations JON! Delighted for him. Well done!
Young Cloughie sill in charge of Richard Burton?
Struggling Bradford City takes the lead vs Scunny.
Thanks
Yes, Cloughie is still in charge. Clloughies know how to win the League Cup...just saying
Southampton take the lead at Hudders
Abe Lincoln two up vs Newport County while it's 1-1 between Crawley and Carlisle. Grinsby in the lead vs struggling Notts County while Colchester in the lead at the Fake Dons. Oldham in the lead vs Exeter
Arsenal's win moved the MILES ahead of Ollie's Men
Let's help Chelsea DON'T do the same
Salford one up
Blades take the lead at Portman Road
Nathan Redmond with the Saints goal as Haagen Dazz is making quite an impact as the new manager of the Saints.
NOPE...just got a score correction from FotMob
still nil nil in Suffolk
Agreed about Chelsea. Good news and bad news in that last post.
That's better news. The Orient Express, challengers to Salford, smoke their way to a lead vs Chesterfield.
Norwich need to win at Ewood Park to overtake Leeds at the top before the Whites' trip to Villa Park tomorrow morning
I will be listening to updates on my phone on that match as I am traveling down to NYC again for the last of the stuff for my brother-in-law
Baggies two up
Baggies two up at Rotherham
Sending scores to Bob on a thread just with us three
Pep is starting to start Stones in the Fernandinho's position instead of the back four. Wonder if England would do the same?

David Brooks with the goal, assisted by Josh King.
Our family had a problem with the English Channel when I was seven years old.

GOAL !!! GUNDOGAN GIVES CITEH THE LEAD VS PALACE.
City take the lead of course

Do you type on the phone or computer?
I have it on my laptop which makes it much easier than the phone
A long diagonal was played wide left to Sane ,w ho played it back to Delph and his cross was headed in by Gundogan, who was wide open.
I dictate into the phone, which take s only seconds. I don't mind if you do updates.
Watford have a penalty at the London Stadium according to the Beeb.....they score
Hammers are going for five straight wins
Deeney netted the pen
River Plate defeated Kawashima Antlers in the Third Place in the World Club Championship. The Final is between Real and El Ain of the UAE later this morning.

OMG... PLACE NOW LEAD!
I'm turning it over...so CITY WILL SCORE FIVE
GREAT GOAL
They are dancing at Anfield!
I'm watching the right one. Two minutes and 42 seconds between the goals.
What a fantastic finish
A free kick from PVA was headed out then it was a spectacular volley in the upper 90 from about 35 yards Aarie Haan style.
Ipswich take the lead at home to the Blades
Blast from the past there MUR
Back to the first Palace goal, where Palace battled their way by keeping possession and Schlupp scored with a well placed effort from the edge of the box off a pass from MacArthur.
That's the problem. Palace should HOLD ON
They should score more
Definitely so. Loved watching him play. Sepp Maier and Dino Zoff not so much
Southampton have a penalty at Hudders
Clear cut chop on Ings
Two nil Saints
Young Cloughie's lads got to Bedfordshire as they trail at Luton
George Hamilton tis it up vs Killie.
If, and it's a big if, Ipswich hold on for the three points, they will still be bottom but only three points away from safety
Ings started it , so he finished it as Haagen Daaz is having quite an impact as Saints boss.
If Liverpool win the league, will they do the same as United did after their drought...hope not
Baggies three up
You send the Prem updates to Bob and I'll send the Championship
Baggies three up at the New York Stadium
Sounds like a plan. The result at PR would be great news from a Leeds point of view.
You just sent it... did you read my last comment?
It's 0-0 at the half from SB
Forest 0 QPR 1
Sent it before you sent the comment by a second.
That's good news for Leeds as well.

PENALTY TO PALACE.
I've turned it over to the Bridge...cue goals at the Etihad
STRUTH... I MISSED ANOTHER !!
GOAL !!!! MILOVOJEVIC SCORE FROM THE SPOT TO GIVE PALACE A 1-3 LEAD.
It was a horrible lunge by Kyle walker seconds after palace had a header come off the post. Came on the counter off the missed header from the Citeh corner.
Back to the Bridge for me...not sure which match to watch
I still fear both home teams will win
Struth... missed TWO goals at Fratton Park...both for POMPEY!!!
Back to the Foxes goal. Ricardo tackled Pedro in midfield, went on a long run., passed to the fourth President and his superb through ball was put away by Vardy past the stranded Chelsea Kepa.
Pomepy up by twq goals and a man
Superb close range save by Kasper.
Great for Pompey... shame Luton are winning
Ten men Black Cats score at Fratton Park, Now 2-1
Hudders get a goal back vs Sotton
Posh being held 1-1 by Wasall.
Kovacic for Willian and Olly for Tongue N Cheek as Chelsea are on the end of a Sari scoreline
oi...stop updating non Prem games!!!!
Phil Billing with the Terriers goal that probably did not receive top billing.,
Wasted free kick chance for the Foxes
Sari about that!
Not over yet but Crystal Palace last won at Manchester City in 1990! Anyone know who won the league that season?
KDB on for Delph, who did not represent the LUFC Academy with distinction today
Last time Liverpool won the league. They sure are benefitting from the scores today

Brentford take the lead vs Bolton
Baggies four up at The New York Stadium. Bob will be pleased that The Potters have taken the lead vs The Evil Lions
Pompey get their two goal lead back
Vardy missed two great chances to score his and the Foxes second. Close range block from the Kepa and his compatriot, Azpi
Fred will not be pleased.
Celtic two up vs Crocodile Dundee in top vs bottom. Livvy in the lead at Hibs
Cambridge behind at Morecambe
Cambridge a point off the bottom two!
Accrington Stanley two up at Argyle . The Real Dons have a Real lead at High Wycombe
Salford only drawing with Daggers
Leicester really going for a second!!
They should be out of sight
Grimsby three up vs Notts County while the Daggers tie it up at Salford. The Orient Express leads Chesterfield 2-1
Not a Big Club take a lead vs Evil Ridsdale in an Evil match
Celtic three up vs Crocodile Dundee.
I would love OGS to put a 442 line up
I know Lukaku is away for personal reasons but we could still put two up there
Bad news for Paul; Hogan's lads as St. Helen Mirren takes the lead at Motherwell.
Southampton get their two goal lead back
Final Score started on BBC
BUGGER! The Daggers have come from behind to lead 1-2 at Salford.
Salford now losing at home
NOT GOOD for the Class of 92
Young Michael Obafemi with his first ever Saints goal, assisted by Nathan Redmond
Haagen Daaz doing well after replacing Hughes.
That would be great from OGS and great if United carry that out
Brighton down to ten men Lewis Dunk
Pogba starts
Free kick from Sane crashes off the outside of the post as the insane 1-3 score holds.
I would not be surprised if Pogba plays better with Jose out
Bournemouth two up
Boro take the lead at Reading
Bob will be mad about the score from the Mad Stad
Luton two up on Burton
Leicester deserve to be more up!!
David Brooks makes the Seagulls feel more like Foster with his and the Cherries second just a few minutes after the Seagulls had a player dunked off for a second yellow.
Vardy coming off
Why take him off... he would be such a threat when Chelsea are pushing for the equalizer!
Richard Burton fell asleep in Bedfordshire. Liz Taylor will not be pleased
Agreed. That's modern footie for you.
Bugger... City get a goal back...they'll get another
I'm watching the Bridge
Four added minutes coming up at the Bridge
BUGGER! KDB PULLS IT BACK TO 2-3 WITH A MISS HIT CROSS.
Is that what you mean by quality crossing?
Quite a finale at the Etihad.
Jordan Ayew on for Zaha.
CHELSEA MUST SCORE...NO... INSIDE OF THE POST AND ACROSS THE LINE
Watford two up
Norwich score a late winner at Ewood
Both games have four added minutes
Thought there would be more
3 of them gone at the Bridge
The ball down the Chelsea end and a Leicester throw in
Kasper has the ball in hand and only twenty second to go
Long punt....nothing wrong with that!!
That is it
LEICESTER HAVE BEATEN CHELSEA
That could have been a pen for Palace!!
Less than a minute left... straight to keeper
19,000 at Fratton Park
