We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

BUGGER ! HOURIHAN PUTS VILLA TWO UP WITH A CURLER.HARRISON COUGHED UP POSSESSION TO EL MOHAMMEDY. HE PASSED TO KODJA , WHO TRICKED HI WAY PAST TWO LEEDS PLAYERS AND PASSED TO HOURIHAN TO SCORE WITH THAT CURLING EFFORT.
The problem for us is that we haven't been scoring loads of goals, relying 1-0 wins. We now need to conjure up three to come back.

Great save by Nyland as a cross from Ali was back headed from a Villa defender , headed for the top corner. Well tipped over.
Nice run by Ali and nice through ball to Klich , but his tame effort was easily saved by Nyland

A fairly even match. Villa have taken their chances and been more clinical in front of goal.
That's it - and I think our defense has been unsettled by that late injury to Barry Douglas.
Academy grad, Lee Davis put in the starting lineup at the eleventh hour in place of the injured Barry Douglas.
He's a good prospect for us but not an adequate replacement in this kind of match.
A long range effort from Pablo Hernandez is easily caught by Nyland after and over cooked cross from Young Lee Davis.

WAY HAY! JACK CLARKE SCORES A SUPERB GOAL OFF A SOLO RUN . HIS FIRST FOR LEEDS AND WHAT A TIMELY GOAL. THE BALL WAS PLAYED WIDE LEFT TO CLARKE AND HE CUT INSIDE EL MOHAMEDY THEN SCORED WITH A SUPERB FINISH IN THE CORNER.

This is looking to be third consecutive match involving Villa that has finished Desmond. Also had a 5-5 draw vs Forest earlier this month

It's over and Leeds come from two down early on to win 2-3 with a winner from Roofe deep in stoppage time.
