We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Afternoon, mate - thanks for getting us going. Every match from here on in is a Cup tie. It's a biggie. Liverpool can afford no slip ups.

A throw from Valery was headed out , but the Saints won the ball back. Vestrgaard played the ball wide left to Bertrand and his superb cross was headed on by Hoijberg for Shane Long to smash home from close range
As things stand it would be advantage Citeh in the tile race and the Saints would probably be one win from clinching Premier League survival.
Nathan Redmond wins a corner off of TAA
OH!!! Great cross from Salah produced a superb save from a close range header by Mane then cleared for a corner.
OH!!! Almost an OG by Van Dijck as the Saints won the ball of the high press and Van Dijck cleared inches over the cross bar for a Saints corner.
Valery misjudged a free header as he headed straight to Alison then off the high press Alison gathered a cross.

GOAL !!! KEITA TIES IT UP FOR POOL WITH HIS FIRST EVER GOAL FOR POOL . GREAT HEADER OFF A GREAT CROSS FROM TAA
Keita, who played for Ralphie at Leipzig with a header pushed on to the inside of the post by Angus Gunn , but it went in to make it 1-1. A cross was headed out then a diagonal cross from Andy Robertson found TAA, who put in a great cross for the equalizer.
Cross from Bobby F just too high for Mane as it skims off the top of his head and out of play.
Wahay! Great to see that Liverpool have tied it up at St. Mary's.

GOAL !!!!! SALAH SCORES ON THE COUNTER OFF A 50 YARD SOLO RUN AND THEN BEATS ANGUS GUNN WITH A GREAT FINISH
Pool broke off the second Saints corner Shot from Josh Sims was blocked and broke to Salah in the Saints half. went on a long solo run then dummied two Saints player as he shot in the corner from the D. His first goal in wight matches as Pool take a crucial 1-2 lead.
Former Saint , Mane, with an assist of sorts as his tackle on Sims resulted in the ball breaking to Salah.
Charlie Austin on for Vestergaard and and Stuart Armstrong driven on for Alpha Romeu as the final rolls of the dice from Haagen Dasz are attacking moves.
Actually , Hendo with the assist as he headed on to Salah off the tackle.

It's over and Pool are back on top thanks to that come from behind 1-3 win
