Europa League Final Live!
A very good Wednesday afternoon to all of you! I'll be skipping out of work a bit early today to enjoy the Europa League Final this afternoon. It's an all-Premiership affair and a London Derby, so the stakes couldn't be higher. If you're around this afternoon and watching, join me for all of the fun.

Afternoon, chaps. It will be interesting to see what kind of crowd shows up tonight in Baku, as Londoners will have to make a 5,000 mile round-trip to Azerbaijan in order to take in this match live. I'm just happy to be able to dial it up on TNT in the comfort of my living with a beverage and snack at my side.
The all-important PPP implications of today's match:
Arsenal to win - Blue Devil, Gooner, MUR, The Saint, UWS, Simon, Yellows
Chelsea to win - MOT the Hoople, Swansong
Four points at stake today.
The team news out of Baku tonight:
Chelsea: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Luiz, Palmieri, Kante, Jorginho, Kovacic, Pedro, Giroud, Hazard.
Subs: Caballero, Alonso, Barkley, Higuain, Zappacosta, Willian, Cahill, Ampadu, Gallagher, McEachran, Cumming.
Arsenal: Cech, Papastathopoulos, Koscielny, Monreal, Maitland-Niles, Torreira, Xhaka, Kolasinac, Ozil, Lacazette, Aubameyang.
Subs: Leno, Elneny, Lichtsteiner, Iwobi, Mustafi, Welbeck, Jenkinson, Guendouzi, Nketiah, Willock, Saka, Iliev.
Referee: Gianluca Rocchi (Italy).
The big news for Chelsea: N’Golo Kante passes a late fitness test on his knee. That’s a huge boost for the Blues, especially as the French midfielder has been struggling with a hamstring injury as well. Olivier Giroud is selected up front ahead of Gonzalo Higuain. That’s Giroud’s reward for his performances in this competition: he’s currently the joint top scorer this season with ten goals, alongside Luka Jović of Eintracht Frankfurt.
Arsenal’s leading man in the Europa League is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. He’s got eight, a total boosted by his hat-trick against Valencia in the semis. He’ll lead the line with Alexandre Lacazette, Mesut Ozil tucked in just behind. Petr Cech is named in goal for the final game of a glittering career, before he takes up an administrative role at ... Chelsea.
The TNT panel this afternoon - Fake Rebecca Lowe, Carlos Bocanegra, Stu Holden and some African-American bloke I don't recognize.
There’s a preposterous pre-match DJ set and contemporary dance performance taking place right now. Uefa should leave this sort of thing to the NFL.
Teams out on the pitch now and we're just about set to go.
And we're away in Baku.
Cagey opening here. All I ask is for this to be sorted out in regular time.
Oh - first real chance there for the Gunners. Maitland-Niles got to the by-line and fizzed over a cross. Kepa did a really poor job at punching out straight to Aubama who fired the rebound wide.
It's clear that this commentary team, which includes Dirty Old Man David Pleat is a million miles from Baku.
Nice move there from the Arse, through Xhaka Khan.
Lacazette goes down looking for a pen. Kepa seemed to catch him. It's gone to a VAR.
No penalty in the end.
Another nice move from Maitland-Niles to get to the by-line. Wins a corner.
Oh - great long through ball there to Lacazette but the Frenchman couldn't control it. Both Kepa and Azpi were injured in the clash.
Arsenal continue to pile forward. Monreal bursts down the left and is barged to the floor by Pedro. A free kick out on the wing, and a chance to load the box.
Comes to nothing.
First real breakaway from Chelsea through Pedro who plays in Kante out wide. Giroud's control let him down when collecting the cross.
Oh - Xhaka with a rasper that just clips the top of the bar!
Oh - Emerson was the man over there. but couldn't find a blue shirt in the box somehow.
Oh - Hazard was in there and produced a great save out of Cech.
We've arrived at half time then, with no goals to show for it. Hoping for better in the second half.
Back on for the second half now at Baku.
GOAL! Olly Giroud strikes for the Blues!
Lovely little ball in from Emerson, who's been a live wire today, and Giroud stooped brilliantly to nod home.
1-0 Chelski!
That's Giroud's 11th in this competition this season. He didn't really do it for the Blues in the league but he's been invaluable in this competition. Top scorer now.
Aubama had a half chance there but he lingered too long on the ball.
Pedro goes into the book for a bit of backchat.
GOAL! Pedro makes it two!
Hazard tees up his teammate and Pedro somewhat scuffed it home with his left peg.
2-0!
Arsenal and Unai Emery will have to roll the dice now in order to get back into this one.
Chelski have a penalty now. Pedro tried to play in Giroud and Maitland-Niles pushed him over.
Hazard steps up and....scores!
3-0!
Feeling sorry for the Gooner now - this is not the match that he wanted to watch this afternoon.
Double change now for the Arsenal. Ghendouzzi on for Nacho. Iwobi on for Perreira.
Iwobi stretches his legs for the first time and draws a foul our of Christensen. Yellow card for him.
GOAL! What a strike from Iwobi! Arsenal have one back!
3-1!
David Pleat had just made the comment that Iwobi doesn't score much and then...wallop! Commentator's curse.
Pedro is coming off to be replaced by Willian.
Hey Bob,
I have been here since half time
Sorry I didn't join
4-1 as I type!
GOAL! Hazard makes it 4-1 just as Arsenal fans were starting to dream. Came from a defensive mistake.
Terrible by Arsenal....losing the ball in a stupid area!
Afternoon, Dave - how are you, mate?
Not a happy night for the Gooner, and no points for us in the PPP, sadly. Advantage MOT the Hoople in the PPP.
Hazard nearly has his hat-trick; just clawed out by Cech.
Kovacic coming off now; Ross Barkley on.
A distraught looking Mesut Ozil troops off; some bloke named Willock comes on.
I've got to take my car up to get an oil change before the place closes, so I'm off, mate. This one's over.
Take care
Im off too...this one is over
