When Steve came over to visit me in Japan during the 2002 WC, he had finagled two tickets through an Italian journalist friend for the Italy v. Mexico group stage match.
But we had a four hour drive, then we had to find the hotel where the Italian team was staying in order to pick up the tickets from the guy, then find parking, then get to the bus station, take a bus out to the stadium and then a half-mile walk to the stadium itself. We got there with five minutes to spare!
