Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

A Busy Tuesday of January Premier League Matches

It's a busy Tuesday of football with half a dozen Premier League matches and even a few lower division matches today.  I will be watching Chelsea vs Arsenal on the telly and the Evil Blades vs Citeh on Gold thanks to UWS . Come join me if you can for what is the reverse of the Premier League matches that were played during UWS's last weekend in England.

Quite a slate of games today

Newcastle two down after 94 minutes at Goodison... they invited Desmond!

Southampton keep improving as they win 2-0 at Palace

Villa come from behind and score a last kick winner at home to Watford

Bournemouth get a much needed win at home to Brighton 3-1

Man City have a penalty saved but still win 1-0 at Bramall Lane

David Luis gives away pen and gets a straight red, Chelsea take the lead. Arsenal are the better team with ten men but Chelsea score a "winner" in the 84th minute BUT NO...Arsenal invite in Desmond with Bellerin scoring in the 87th minute

Arsenal score two goals from two goals!

A win at home to Burnley tomorrow would bring United to within 3 points of Chelsea with a better GD

Of course, that is a BIG IF

After 17 games, the Saints were in the relegation zone as well as being beaten 9-0 at home... they didn't sack the gaffer....they just turned the corner

7 games later, they are THREE points behind United
