We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Euro 2024 - Day 4

Morning, boys - the days and matches are coming thick and fast now. We've barely recovered from that narrow England win over Serbia yesterday and here we are staring at three more matches in the face. The undercard matches today are from Group E - the duffest group in the tournament, starting with Romania v. Ukraine and then followed at noon by Belgium v. Slovakia. But the marquee match is France v. Austria at 3pm. Join me if you're around.

No coverage on Fox or FS1 this morning, so I've been following the match on YouTube.

I'm surprised that Romania have really turned Ukraine over. It's 3-0 in the second half. I'll look forward to seeing those highlights later on tonight.

Ukraine have been summarily dispatched by Romania this morning. Now it's time for the favorites in Group E - Belgium - to take the stage against Slovakia. Let's see what the old boys have left in the tank.
