Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

New Shirt of the Champions To Be

Davey, do you fancy it? To me the red has more orange to it than is traditional and the white field under the badge is a little odd. Commiserations in advance that Nike continues to design your shirt. Those b*****ds have been responsible for some horrible designs for us.

Example: the Pepsi can of 2003/04, and the "Spurs away" of 2004/05.

I'm with Gooner on this one. It looks a bit odd. But not as odd as the beaujolais one the Arse were wearing last season. It'll be good to see them go back to the red with white sleeves look this season.

New champions, Dave? You're having a laugh. With Ballack, Sheva, and others on board, there'll be no catching Chelski for at least a couple of seasons. You'll do well to qualify for the Champion's League this season without the services of Ruud van Horsey and with Skippy getting booed at every touch. Brace yourself.

Look, we are always our most dangerous when people overlook us.
It is a retro 50's kit in honor of the Busby Babes.

I'll reserve judgement on the red. Frequently that shade looks different from picture to picture.

The Busby Babes? If you were going to commemorate them wouldn't it have been better to do so this past season, 50 years on from their championship season? What are you commemorating, the season before the Munich disaster? A bit morbid.

Sadly, Man United nor Arsenal are likely to be much danger as long as Chelsea's money holds up. We can only hope for a financial scandal a la the clean feet thing in Italy to slow them down.

But I'm willing to wait. It's just not this season I'm holding my breath for.

Speaking of the new ManYoo kit, Dave, just what size shorts will you be needing to accomodate the giant wang of your new signing Tommy Lee?
