Champions League Final Live!
Well, well, well. It all comes down to this - Liverpool vs. AC Milan. We've all been here before - in 2005 it came down to penalties. It may do so again but few are predicting another 3-3 draw. Let's be honest - neither side should be there by rights and it will likely be a bore on the scale of last weekend's FA Cup Final. Still, with precious little footie on the telly these days, I shall be watching and will look forward to the pleasure of your company.

I am here. 21 minutes gone.
How's it gone so far?
Stevie G with a chance. Way over the top
Look at this stat from the BEEB
1925: And there's not much between them in the Champions League this season. In fact, there's nothing.
AC Milan: P14; W8; D3; L3; F21; A10
Liverpool: P14; W8; D3; L3; F21; A10

No Crouch?
He is their top scorer
Alonso should have put it on target
I guess I am alone here.
I will keep plugging away
A mistake by Milan... Liverpool should have been in there
Gattuso in the book.
It has been all Liverpool since I've been here
They actually gave a score update on ESPN radio the way home. OF COURSE, it is going to be goalless
Stevie G seems to far left
make that TOO far left
Free kick chance for Milan.
DANGEROUS position
Pirlo or Seedorf to take
Pirlo buries it in the net.
Totally undeserved
Deflected by Inzaghi
That's it for the half.
A last minute goal from a lucky deflection. We can't have these cheaters win!!!
At least Liverpool are in a better position than two years ago
At least they are going in the same direction as two years ago as well
Wow, ESPN have a studio set!!!!
Second half underway
Gerrard looks a little off
Zendon should come off.
Where is Crouch?
KAKA is invisible. Mascherano has tied him down
How does Kewell play hardly at all for three seasons and play in two Cup Finals
Two 'Pool bookings in as many minutes
Gerrard can't take advantage of a one on one with Dida
I would take off Alonso, bring on Crouch and move Gerrard into the middle
Milan have been hopeless.
HOW DID UNITED LOSE TO THESE GUYS???
Close by Gerrard
Finally, Crouch is getting ready to come on... for who?
Seedorf whacked that one!! Lucky it hit Riise.
The public address keeps trying to find missing Liverpool fans. Everyone of them is in English.
Finally, Crouch on for Mascherano.
I guess they need to keep on the attacking middie
Come on Crouchie boy!!!
That was so lucky!!
Pipo let it go right through his legs
NUT MEG!!!
Bugger!!
Pipo scores again
Great play from Crouchie
Liverpool have scored!!
Kuyt with the goal.
Under two minutes plus stoppage time to get the equalizer.
Can you say United in Barca???
Gerrard miscontrols it.
He has not been very good today.
Is he wearing an England shirt?
Three minutes of added time.
They need the ball
Another sub for Milan. Will the ref add another 30 seconds?
No he doesn't. He decides to take away fifteen seconds.
Substitutions should not be allowed to be made to waste time.
Shame.
Wish I had some company today.
Cheerio
Bugger, I just clicked on Yahoo Homepage and it had the result as a lead bloody story . . . so much for the videotaping I'm doing . . . guess I'll just watch Lost . . .
Sorry to bail you on today, Dave. I had a couple of buddies who came over at the last minute with pizza and beer....and I think you know my policy on free pizza!
Anyway, a slightly better game than I'd expected with Liverpool bossing things but suffering a goal against the run of play at the wrong time and then a second when they were pushing for it in the second half.
They made a game of it in the game, especially after Kuyt had stuck in the header.
Some lessons for Rafa - Kewell's surplus; he'll never be the player for 'Pool that he was for us. Shop him but quick. And Crouchie is the man. Why have him on the bench for 75 minutes when you know the boy changes matches with his presence. The Milan defense just simply couldn't handle him and his presence created the havoc that led to their one goal.
