Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

And in the end Sevilla have picked up their back to back UEFA Cup titles.
It was a cracker - quite different from last year's drubbing of Boro, with two good goals in regular time. The only shame of it is that UEFA haven't been able to pull their fingers out and go with a "Golden Goal" or at least "Silver Goal" system. That would have given Freddy Kanoute the winning goal in the first period of extra time instead of yet another big European final coming down to the absurd lottery of penalties.
Still waiting for the answer to the trivia, lads.
I agree with your statements.
As for the trivia, I have not looked up anything and I would say Inter is one.
Yeah, Inter is one. How about the other four?
How about Anderlecht?
Sorry, Trev. Good guess, but there are no Dutch teams in the group. There are, however, two Italian sides (including Inter), two Spanish and one English.
Go to it!
Spurs
Sorry, no. Are you having a laugh? Spurs? No. Think "English club with a successful record in Europe."
Liverpool- did they win twice in the early seventies?
I know they won in 2001 in that FAKE treble.
I know they won with Shanks, did they win another.
By the way, Spurs have won it twice.
They beat Wolves(?) in the early seventies and then won in 84 ish
Right on both scores. Liverpool won it in 73, 75 and that "fake" treble win in 2001.
Spurs won the first UEFA after it switched from the Inter Cities Fairs Cup in 71 and then again in 83. They really should have made the final this year too after an early away goal by Robbie Keane against Sevilla. Some shocking defending let them down.
Alright, you useless sods - here's the answer:
The five clubs who've won the UEFA three times are -
Juventus
Barcelona
Valencia
Inter
Liverpool
Spanish clubs have the best record, having won twelve times in all.
