Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Here are the sides for the big one this afternoon:
Arsenal: Almunia, Sagna, Silvestre, Gallas, Clichy, Walcott, Fabregas, Denilson, Nasri, Van Persie, Adebayor. Subs: Fabianski, Diaby, Toure, Vela, Song Billong, Bendtner, Eboue.
Tottenham: Gomes, Hutton, Corluka, Woodgate, Assou-Ekotto, Bentley, Modric, Jenas, Huddlestone, Bale, Pavlyuchenko. Subs: Cesar, Zokora, Lennon, Bent, Gunter, Campbell, O'Hara.
ManYoo vs. West Ham starts on the box at 4 p.m. while I'll also have the derby up on the laptop. Magic!
Frank Lampard has scored in the third minute of Chelski's fascinating match against third placed Hull. That puts them back on top of the Prem.
Fulham are 1-0 up over Wigan through Andy Johnson.
ManYoo and West Ham are kicking off at OT, suspiciously late. I have a feeling we have a slight delay on FSC as usual.
I've having a lot of trouble getting the derby up. Loads of Gooners no doubt crashing the system.
Zola has the winger Faubert playing right back again. He scored an own goal for Arsenal at the weekend and he looks hopelessly out of place again today with Nani running at him.
Lampard's goal on closer inspection is a wonderful strike, an 18 yard chip over the keeper. Wish he could do that for England!
Nice run from Carlito, who's getting a rare start from Fergie today with Roon on the bench.
Would you believe it? David Bentley has scored or Spurs at the Emirates. Sorry to the Gooners on the blog. That was not part of the script for today.
GOAL! Cristiano Ronaldo scores for United against the Hammers. Sorry, Trev. Dave will be the only happy chappy on the blog so far today.
I've finally got the derby feed up and it's in Arabic. Still searching.
Warnock has scored for Blackburn away to Villa.
Finally! A good English-speaking feed for the North London derby and it's Martin Tyler and Andy Gray. Magic!
A badly mistimed tackle by Patrice Evra sees the Frenchman in the book.
I've just seen the Bentley goal again and it's right out of the top drawer. Brilliant finish.
The Arsenal midfield is not clicking like usual this evening.
I'll say it again - there is no reason to have Van Persie taking corner.
GOAL: And it's Ronaldo again! But this one was all about Berbatov making a monkey of Faubert at the by-line and then laying it on a plate for Skippy.
2-0 United!
Suddenly Zola's got that steely "I'm gonna kill someone" look in his eye again.
Villa have equalized through Ashley Young on half an hour.
Tevez and Berbatov are both wearing gloves tonight. Shocking!
Fabregas nearly squeezes in an equalizer for the Arse. Turned around by Gomes.
GOAL! And it's Mikel Silvestre with his first goal for the Gunners. From a corner, Silvestre stole in at the near post with a great run and nodded home at the apex of his leap. Good stuff. 1-1.
Arsenal are now up into third after that goal leapfrogging Hull who are still a goal down at home to Chelski. United are up into 5th and it's starting to look very predictable at the top.
Things are going from bad to worse for the Hammers with Scotty Parker being stretchered off now after a clash with VDS.
Arsenal and Spurs have reached half time at 1-1. United and West Ham will have a few minutes of stoppage time to play with Boa Morte replacing Parker.
Nicolas Anelka has added a second goal for Chelski at Hull. Perhaps the hull bubble is being burst today.
The teams are out again at the Emirates.
Tom Huddlestone looks like he's tucked into the Christmas pud a bit early.
GOAL! Arsenal for once are the set piece experts and its the other center back William Gallas nodding home from RVP's free kick. Clinical header.
Arsenal 2-1.
The sides are out at OT and Ferg and Zoa are locked in conversation. Gianfranco know doubt is asking SAF if he'd like to trade jobs.
I need one more goal from the Arse to capitalize on my banker's chip. I had them at 3-1 today.
Gareth Barry has added a second for Villa while AJ has doubled his tally for Fulham.
Liverpool are still at 0-0 with Pompey and are at risk of dropping two value points. They're still top with one point to spare.
Alves has scored a penalty for Boro at home to Citeh.
Spurs are starting to dish out the tasty tackles. Bentley is the latest to go into the book.
Tom Huddlestone has gone into the book now for just standing in the way of Clichy.
Adebayor nearly adds a third for Arsenal.
Well, well, well. Stoke have actually scored in their relegation battle with Sunderland. That's lifted them out of the drop zone.
GOAL! Arsenal get their third goal. Nasri lifts a ball over the keeper and Adebayor makes sure.
3-1!
Malouda has added a third for Chelski. They've thumped Hull today and that might just raise some doubts in the heads of Phil Brown's team.
Bloody hell, Almunia's bobbled a shot from Fatty Huddlestone and Bent's stuck the replay in. That's ruined my prediction and now Spurs are back in it. What a twat!
GOAL! An immediate response from the Arsenal. They run the ball back down the pitch. Adebayor plays RVP in and he makes no mistake.
Arsenal 4-2!
Hey, I am just back from Matt's game. IT WAS BLOODY FREEZING!!
Glad to see the score.
Just about to look up the others
Bowyer's coming off to be replaced by this exciting new Hammers Academy prospect Freddy Sears.
Roon is coming on for Nani and he looks as if he's gone to my barber.
Welcome, Dave! I'm not surprised that it was freezing. Any snow on the ground?
It's a right old ding dong at the Emirates. I was watching it up to a minute or so ago and then the feed froze up on me. Too many Gooners on the site probably.
No, but there was close to us.
We have had snow but nothing stuck
What link are watching for the Arse
Arsenal 4-2
Villa 2 Blackburn 1
Bolton 0 Everton 0
Fulham 2 Wigan 0
Hull 0 Chelski 3
Pool 0 Pompey 0
Boro 1 Citeh 0
Stoke 1 Sunderland 0
I was watching it on Eminem but it went off a few minutes ago. It was on Hodod but I couldn't stand the Arabic chatter.
Gerrard has scored a pen for Pool. They're up to 26 points.
United have taken the foot off the gas. I need them to stick another in.
Chelski have finished at Hull. 0-3 there. Wallop!
I've got the Derby back up on Streamz3. It sounds like Spanish.
A rare appearance for the Neviller coming on no doubt for your Renaissance painter.
United are still not too impressive.
Where is a walloping?
Agbonlabor has added a third goal for Villa right at the end of that match. 3-2 Villa over Blackburn.
Chelski 3-0 over Hull at Hull. Nice chip by Lamps for the first one.
Come on, United - you lazy sods. Stick another in!
You'll enjoy the bit of Berba skill that set up the second goal for Ron. Reminds me of your trickery.
What were your predictions?
Alex Song coming on for Nasri.
Thanks for being compared to Berba.
I taped it so I will look
I'm not doing too bad. I think I'll end up with 60 or 70 points in the end.
Newcastle 0 WBA 1 (-10)
Villa 2 Blackburn 0 (10)
Fulham 1 Wigan 1 (-10)
Hull 1 Chelski 2 (10)
Stoke 0 Sunderland 1 (-10)
Arsenal 3 Tottenham 1 (20)
Bolton 0 Everton 0 (30)
Liverpool 2 Pompey 0 (10)
United 3 WH 0 (10)
Boro 2 Citeh 2 (-10)
Another goal at the Em.
Four Three!!
I'm not watching it
Arsenal-Spurs into stoppage time now.
What a match!
Jenas with Spurs's third goal.
OH MY GOD!!
SPURS HAVE TIED IT UP!!!!!!!!
Bugger! Fellaini has stolen thirty points from me by scoring for Everton in the 90th bloody minute. Now I really need United to score in the next minute or so.
NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's sixty points I'll be docked. I'm buggered now!
Aaron Lennon. Thanks a lot buddy.
And it is over.
4-4!!!!!!!!!!
It's ended and the Spurs players are dancing up in down in joy at the end having grabbed a point. 4-4.
Not a good day for the predictions in the end. I'll probably end up in a deficit for the day. Bugger!
A ho-hum win for United.
Sorry Trev
What about that skill from Berba, eh?
Cheerio, mate! Speak to you at the weekend?
Take Care
i am physically sick right now.
I hate football
Sorry about that, Simon. I know that you must feel gutted. Be consoled in the fact that Spurs are still in the drop zone despite their idiotic dancing at the end of today's match.
And there's always next Saturday!
Aye, at least we didnt lose but all i can see is Gliche falling over and Almunia spilling goals all day...Not to mention the defensive players we brought on , Eboue and Diaby bombing forward in he last few minutes instead of protecting the ball... why oh why!!
And I think Arsenal is on tape delay at 6pm Saturday - why must football keep torturing me so!
