What happened to your link?
I'm back! and United scored! Fletcher! 1-0!~
United dominating but need a goal.
AND THEY HAVE ONE!!!
FLETCHER WTIH A GOOD MOVE
Sorry, mate, I think we deleted both links at the same time! But we're back in action.
Why would you delete yours? We were using it
Great pass by Giggs for the goal
I was going to predict 0-2 United today but I didn't get my prediction in early enough.
I panicked!
Howard saves well from Ron.
My alarm's just gone off. Blimey, it's early!
So, Leeds have Walsall at home today. They seem to be having a lot of games at Elland Road lately.
Do you see that there is only ONE 3 o'clock kick off today in the Prem. BLOODY UEFA CUP!
They should have only the UEFA Cup teams play on Sundays following their game
United go close again!
Can you imagine being the average United fan trying to get up to Liverpool from London by noon for this match?
Did you watch The Office this week?
A new 'that's what she said"
I noticed that. Ridiculous!
Are you taking a dig at United fans from London?
I had a meeting, so I missed. What was it?
They were having an auction and Michael had a gavel. It was a toy one. He hit it against the podium and it squeaked. He said "what the hell was that? It squeaks when you bang it. That's what she said"
Berba should have done better there. Too casual.
Giggs looks on fire today
That's brilliant!
I did see the SNL later that night. Good stuff.
United should be ahead by more. We need to get closer to Chelski with goals
Yeah, we've got Walsall at home today. I'm looking for another home win. Walsall are merely mid-table right now.
Is the Carling Cup up again this week?
Greedy.
No, there is a full program of League Football. I know United play West Ham on Wednesday. I just looked up Leeds and they play Southend away on Tuesday.
I think the clocks change this weekend in England. The United game says it is a 4 o'clock ko and not at 3.
Coming up on half-time. United firmly in the driver's seat.
Thanks for the heads-up. When do the clocks go back here?
Half time. Happy?
Some time in November. I think they go back in England. I am just guessing
Half time
That was odd. I got a load of ads in German and Italian and then it switched to the Tyne and Weir derby instead. Bizarre what goes on on these channels. Which one are you on?
I was right
Daylight Saving Time dates
in USA & Canada ends:
Sunday 2 November 2008
Europe / UK clocks switch to
Winter Time / standard time:
Sunday 26 October 2008
United back out for the second half... and so are Everton
More goals for the team in red please(I don't mean Walsall)
We're back on for the second half but I'm still having trouble with my link. I'm searching.
Why isn't the Sunderland/Newcastle game being shown on FSC? Setanta has the United game
So that's next weekend, eh? Luv it! I think we should just keep turning them back an hour each week.
I am using either Direct or Hod. I can't remember which one
Dunno why. Maybe Setanta has that match as well. They have several channels.
Sir Bobby
I'm on one now that has a bunch of Italian stuff on in between. But the match commentary is in English, thank goodness.
There is a Soccer Saturday link available later on
I have to leave to Jon's game though
With a flat cap on too, ecky thump!
What time is Jon's game?
Tevez better get on soon. I don't want him to get unhappy
Regardless of the confusion of links, it's still amazing to be able to watch this match. Last season, I'd be up early following the text on 365 and cursing at FSC for playing some half hour infomercial for the Ab-buster with Christie Brinkley and Chuck Norris!
Sunderland has taken the lead. Cisse with the goal
that's good timing. You won't miss much.
Yes, have I told you that I LOVE this site?
Everton putting some pressure on.
COME ON UNITED... SCORE AGAIN!!
I'd have Carlito on for Berba now. Dimitar is hopeless. I hear that you're in discussions with Karim Benzema's parents. Fairly close to a deal then for January. How many bloody strikers do you need!?
Berba is not hopeless. He hasn't played well today
Give your Spurs fan a kiss for us, eh? Maybe it will give his side some luck. I still feel sympathy for them, even though the hard-hearted Gooners on the blog want to see them go down.
I reckon the Benzema move means that Tevez will be moving on. We'll have him at the Elland please.
I don't want them to go down
Hopeless cross from Pienaar.
I don't get it. They'll lose two derby matches with the old enemy. That makes no sense at all.
Come on United. DON'T LET EVERTON BACK INTO THIS!!!
I'd like to see Stoke, WBA and Bolton go down.
What was the Orange playing at there?
That was nasty by Neville.
Come on Phil, you're a United man forever
Oh dear, Ronaldo's rolling about on the floor here and there are handbags between the little Neviller and Rio.
I'd like Bolton, WBA and Fulham. They aren't American anymore
Neville did get the ball there...and several bits of Ron too.
The Toon have tied it up. Ameobi
I'd be okay with Fulham too. Dempsey can come back to the Revs any time.
The Toffees need to feed the Yak. He's had barely a sniff all game.
United with a blistering counter attack goal please
Lovely. That's my prediction for the match. 1-1.
You lot are up into third now.
Do you really think both of those defenses will not give away another goal? Wishful thinking
Roon loves that move onto his right foot for a shot. I'd always channel him out on the left wing.
BUGGER!!!!!!!!
It was coming
We'll see. I lose ten points on this match. I'm hoping to make it up on the derby match.
What's coming? You must be ahead of me. Oh, there it is. Good goal for the Toffees. Sorry, mate.
Good header there.
United look rattled
BLOODY HELL, what is Rio doing??
Off the post
Off the post from the Yak!
Everton are pouring it on now.
Good move by United and then ruined by a useless cross by Evra
Anderson on for Park
Rio and co. need to pull their fingers out.
SHOOT ANDERSON!!
It is about time you score for United
I don't understand that move unless it's an injury. You need Carlito on.
Bring on TEV
I think it is to stop Everton's threat
United are giving the ball away too cheaply.
Roon in the book. Keep it calm.
Roon goes in late and picks up a yellow. More handbags.
Roon, settle it down.
That must really be getting at the Everton fans.
Kissing the badge. I understand why he would do that but...
Rooney's now egging on the supporters by kissing his badge in front of them. That's silly and Alan Wiley's giving him a bollocking.
Yeah, didn't Roon grow up supporting Everton? He certainly started there.
Roon off now for Nani. He'll be escorted out of the ground by police, no doubt. I wonder if Ferg is angry at him.
Why not Tev
Surprising that Roon went off. I was in the bathroom. Was he upset?
Roon looks calm enough on the bench
COME ON SAF BRING ON TEV
HERE HE COMES FOR FLETCHER!!
Tevez on now up front with Berba.
No, Roon didn't seem upset. He gave the Everton crowd one last ironic handclap and they responded with an ironic cheer and off he went. Ferg gave him a bit of a hug.
Hull have a real chance to go second today. Can you imagine them in the Champions League next season? Dream land!
We really need a goal here
Come on Ron, you were in!!
Brown in the book, nice nutmeg
Ronaldo's starting to get in behind Everton now.
Red card for Brown? No, just yellow. Surely he was the last man back, right?
Last five minutes plus stoppages. I have to leave to Jon's game, I want to leave happy.
He was in his own half!!!!
Tevez nearly in there, with Howard taking it a bit casual.
It doesn't matter. Yak was straight in on goal if he didn't foul him, right?
Bloody Hell, Ron hits it wide. He has been off all season
Ronaldo last year would have scored that chance.
Plenty of cover there
Yak off for some kid I've never heard of. Moyes is going for it.
Is his mind in Madrid? They say that they don't want him... of course they're lying.
Get it over Nani... at least it is a corner
Four minutes of added time. COME ON UNITED
Into stoppage time now...
Moyes to waste more time with a substitution
I would have predicted a United win here and lost ten points anyway.
So you're down into fifth a result here. Two points dropped, I suppose.
Okay lady, I am fed up with that message for away fans!! SHUT UP
Absolutely two points dropped
One more chance for United to get it into the box.
COME ON
Cleared.. another free kick chance
Do you think Ron is going to shoot from there?
Into the wall? everything else has
One last chance for Ron...and it's deflected over. Where's all this stoppage time coming from? It's all over now.
I'm going to try to pick up the Soccer Saturday link now.
USELESS... of the wall. I called it
Last corner.. nope BUGGER
Everton, are you big time? Don't raise your hands in praise when you draw at home!!!
I am off, I'll be back later
Good luck to Leeds
Cheers
Dave
Nope - it only pulls up the Tyne and Weir derby. Still 1-1 there. I looks like I may still get the 30 points.
See you later, Dave!
The Northeast derby has just finished with Sunderland winning at home for the first time in a quarter century. Unfortunately it's been marred by some crowd trouble at the Stadium of Lights.
The regularly scheduled matches are about to begin. Only one 3 p.m. kickoff in the Prem this afternoon as Dave mentioned earlier. It'll be WBA vs. Hull on the box. I'll of course have an eye on Div. 1 with Leeds at home to Walsall. We start in fourth and I'd love to pick up some pace on the top dogs in the league.
Scunthorpe host Millwall today in a first vs. second match-up. We'd love a draw there. Then if Northampton can get something out of Leicester, it'll give us a great Saturday. But first we have to see off Walsall.
Come on, you Whites!
Both sides have come out full of life at the Hawthorns. This could be a cracking match.
Geovanni has been a revelation for Hull this season after his move from Citeh. He tries a pop from distance, and why not?
Colchester are already 1-0 up inside the first two minutes against a Carlisle who've dropped precipitously in Div. 1.
A mad scramble from a corner in the Hull area. It came off the bar twice there. Still 0-0.
Dear oh dear. Scunthorpe have already taken the lead against Millwall. They're now on 29 points.
MK Dons have taken the lead against the relegation fighters Cheltenham. That pushes them up into the playoff spots.
Peterborough now one up over Huddersfield.
Leeds have had a storming start at the Elland. Three shots in the first ten minutes. But it's still goalless.
Bristol Rovers have taken the lead against Southend, who we play in mid-week. And Hartlepool are one up on Brighton. Loads of goals in Division 1 so far.
Two-nil Colchester now.
Scunthorpe now 2-0 up over Millwall.
I've just noticed that our big Danish keeper Casper Ankergren is back in the starting eleven and we haven't got a goalkeeper on the bench. Interesting choice by Macca.
Bristol Rovers now 2-0 up over the Shrimpers.
Peterborough now 2-0 up over Huddersfield. My Yorkshire buddy at Virginia Tech. won't be best pleased.
Swindon now 1-0 up over Oldham. That helps us, thank you.
Cheltenham have pulled one back against MK Dons. Lovely. I hate those scabs.
Walsall have Leeds old boy Michael Ricketts up front. I never like having to play against one of our former players.
Colchester are running riot against Carlisle. 3-0 there.
I am back
Lots of chances in the FSC match but no goals so far.
Welcome back! How was Jon's match?
It was good. It is just rec soccer. He scored and they won 2-1
Cor, Miller gets a boot right in the face there and he's off with a lot of blood streaming down.
Lovely jubbly!
Half an hour gone at Elland Road. We need a goal!
Bristol Rovers now 3-0 up on Southend. Let's hope that lowers their morale for mid-week.
As Big Ron would say, Ismael Ricketts now looks like a pint of Guinness!
Sorry, that's Ismael Miller.
The soccer saturday link does say 1400 so maybe it will click on at halftime
I mean it says 1600
Ipswich two up at Plymouth
Derby winning at Coventry
Nice flick from the corner there. That was close
Half time at the Hawthorns. All square
Half time at the Hawthorns - still 0-0 there. I'll need three goals in the second half for the 1-2 Hull result for 30 points.
0-0 at Elland Rd. at half time.
Half time at ER and scoreless
Southampton are losing to Swansea today and they are in the bottom three. What has happened to them!
I'll give it a pop.
Weird. I'm getting Soccer Saturday audio but visual highlights from what looks like the Bundesliga.
Is George Burley still at Soton?
I turned on the last link for SS and it is a screen with German footie but it is Five Live for sound
No, he left for Scotland
I think you have the same thing but it isn't SS but Five Live
Finally! I've got Soccer Saturday. Lovely!
MySports - second link.
Good line-up tomorrow. But it cuts into my political watch. I prefer the footie on the Saturday and campaign news on the Sunday.
I have it on another link.
Lovely, even though I like Five Live.
I've lost it again
Just started working again
Brilliant, SS!!
It is on one of those small screens with comments on the right. Can you get rid of those comments and make the picture bigger?
Back on at the Hawthorns...
Charlton are losing too, they are down by Sotton. What is going on
WELL DONE FOR LEEDS
GREAT TO HEAR IT ON SS
Yeah, that's what I've done.
YESSSS!!!!!!
Becchio! His eighth goal of the season. Loving the SS with the groaning.
Great save from Carson!
nice save at the Hawthorns
Phil Thompson is having a heart-attack watching the Hawthorns!
1-0 Hull - lovely!
HULL HAS SCORED!!
Glad to see the TV is just ahead of the computer. It won't ruin it for us
Leeds in second place!!!
More yelling! This time from Charlie Nicholas. I'm loving this.
Love the yelling on SS.
Leeds up to second
Ipswich now 0-3 up. Well done the Tractor Boys.
Nice break by Hull... saved by Carson
Hull have definitely come out of their shells in the second half. Another great save from Carson.
End to end stuff on TV
How long does SS go after the final whistle?
Scunthorpe now 3-0 up. No hope for Millwall coming back now.
Dunno. They usually have all the scores at least.
Are Scunthorpe that good?
Peterborough are 3-0 up over Huddersfield now. Loads of goals in Div. 1.
Dunno - I haven't seen them play.
Nice shot and good save
