Carlton Cole Shows Us How to Miss a Sitter
Okay, so maybe we didn't deserve all three points, but how in the world does Cole not scored in the 92 minute? He's going to goal, dead center, can take his time, but chooses to rush a feeble shot. Shame.
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Unfortunately that's the difference between the big four and the rest of the league. Chelski were useless today but Anelka had one chance and he gobbled it up whereas Carlton Cole had four or five gilt edged chances and couldn't knock any of them in. That's why the Blues let go of him in the first place.
Aaach, Johnno, I feel your pain. Like the Heather Mills-like RVP on the weekend, Cole was a bit rubbish today when it counted.
If I weren't already licking my wounds after four losses on the trot for the Whites, I'd feel the pain as well. But I'm numb to footie pain at this point.
Tell you what, Johnno. We'll swap you big Enoch Showumni for Carlton. What do you think?
