Gillingham have equalized through Jackson! That will make Sir Alex and Arsene Wenger smile.
More bad news for Martin O'Neill. Ashley Young has just limped off. Twenty minutes left for the Villans to kill off the Gills.

Fairly cagey opening so far.
First real fright for the Saints. Nani hits a speculative shot and Davis bobbled it. Berba had a clever role in that move.
Berba was nearly in on goal that time.
Anderson had a real chance there. Davis somehow scrambled it over for a corner. Total United dominance.
GOAL! From the resulting corner, John O'Shea had a free header and Danny Wellbeck snapped up the rebound off the keeper.

United could finish this fixture off before half time if they want to. The Saints look very shakey, particularly from corners.

Wow - I thought the draw would be tomorrow but the commentator is giving the results of it out over the air, so it must have been this afternoon already. The big one - Liverpool vs. Everton. The winners of this match will meet Spurs.

The crowd is predictably livid with lots of "wanker" chants going up but it was a shocking challenge. Triple X stuff there. He had to go.

Welbeck goes down holding his leg and play is stopped.
Nani's near-post cross is met by Welbeck and Davis does superbly to stick out a leg and deflect his volley wide. United make a mess of the corner.
Giggs' corner is fisted away by Davis and the half-time whistle goes. Hard to see how Saints can get back into this one.
