Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

SWP gets in behind the defense early but is well blocked by the keeper.
The usual attacking line-up for Citeh with Elano, SWP, Ireland, Robinho and Caicado all bombing forward and only Zabiletta holding. I wish all clubs threw caution to the wind like that.
Nice stuff again from Citeh, ending with a snapshot just over the bar.
GOAL! The warning signs were there and Caicado has scored. Robinho fed him and he rolled the last defender with consummate ease. Great start for Citeh!
1-0!
Robinho gets in behind the last defender on the left again and nearly fed Ireland for #2. Citeh are flying!
It's really a shame that Martin O'Neill bottled it in the last round because I reckon that Citeh and Villa could have easily got into the final rounds of this fairly weak competition.
Citeh have taken their foot off the pedal a bit here and are allowing the big Danes a chance to get back into this one through a set piece.
Half an hour in now and it's still 1-0 Citeh.
GOAL! Oh, what a strike from SWP!
It's an elaborate celebration after a quite wonderful individual effort. He was fed by Ireland at the half way line and then jinked his way past two statues and rocketed a shot into the right hand top corner.
Citeh 2-0!
Citeh have been really easy on the eye in this first half and perhaps bringing in Shay Given will allow them to keep a few more goals out but they really could use a quality center back. And I don't know what's happened to Micah Richards.
Robinho was straight through there and dazzled the full-back with some step-overs. Stopped by the keeper.
Another SWP cross nearly stabbed in at the near post by Robinho. It could easily be 4-0.
Hey Bob, I checked in earlier and didn't see a post
I have been watching the match
All Citeh. I hope they play like this on Sunday
Just saw that Arsenal Hull play their quarter final on March 17
The winner plays against Chelsea on Saturday April 18 and United Everton play on Sunday
Hey, Dave! How are you?
The second half has kicked off...
United drew at home with these guys in the CL this season 2-2 and beat them 3-0 away
That is when Bruce Rioch was managing them
Very crowded FA Cup fixture list, eh?
Robinho has a chance at #3 but strikes it right at Zaza. Love that name - Zaza!
Rob finds Ireland and gets the ball back.
Almost another one.
They should get another one to hammer home their superiority.
I'll be back in sec
I have to pick up Matt from Tennis practice
Aalborg don't seem to have much really.
See you in a tick.
Caicedo's earned his corn tonight and he's off to be replaced by Chet Evans, the Welshman.
Twenty minutes left in this one and it appears that Citeh are satisfied with 2-0.
The LiveVSS feed seems to be working better today. I was watching a bit of the darts earlier and the ITV coverage has been splendid. They also had the Liverpool vs. United reserves on another channel that was straight from "Liverpool TV."
The Danish fans are leaping up and down for no apparent reason. SWP nearly knocked in a third there and it hasn't dampened their enthusiasm. Perhaps they heard that the pickled herring vendor has shown up at Eastlands.
Enevoldsen is taken off to protect him from being sent off. He's been a naughty boy tonight.
Robinho flops in the area and the referee is not impressed.
I am back
I had to pick up Matt and then take dinner over to Kathy's dad
I was watching some of the Costa United reserve a while back. There is a link for CostaTV and MUTV
They both had the game on. While I was watching, Fabio scored a beautifully worked goal. United were winning 2-1
Citeh have given up a dangerous free kick here. One away goal and things would look very different going into the second leg.
Are you sure that that wasn't Rafael? How would you know?
What were you watching that on?
Useless free kick by AaB
I am watching the highlights of the reserve match
It finished 2-2. Two howlers by Tomas Kuz
Caca should have scored there.
Lucky it wasn't the K one
You see the difference between Caca and Kaka there. What a miss!
Great line-up on Saturday. United vs. Pool as the early one and then Leeds at home to Swindon at ten.
The first one is just a warm up, isn't it!!
Full-time: 2-0; not a bad result and it's not really a "Blue Moon" kind of night at Eastlands.
Citeh get the two nil victory
Could have been more but also could have been worse.
See you on Saturday
Absolutely - the main event is always at Elland Road for me. I'll see you bright and early then.
