Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Excellent Sky Sports 2 stream up and running here on:

Oldham have gone bright pink for one night in order to raise funds for breast cancer. Great cause for sure but they don't half look like pillocks.
The good guys:
1. Casper Ankergren
4. Jonathan Douglas
5. Rui Marques
36. Richard Naylor
19. Ben Parker
23. Robert Snodgrass
15. Fabian Delph
8. Neil Kilkenny
16. Bradley Johnson
9. Jermaine Beckford
10. Luciano Becchio
Oldham's Taylor has gone down prone after being hit smack in the face by an early clearance.
Oh, Becchio was nearly in there but for a terrific tackle by Oldham's Daniel Jones.
It's a lively atmosphere inside the ground tonight, particularly for a Division 1 match.
Great save from the big Dane Ankergren.
This is a particularly important fixture for us. Oldham are currently in fourth and have one game in hand on us, while we're currently just inside the playoff spots in sixth.
Excellent - "Hot Shot" Lorimer in the stands along with the Leeds legends.
Good shout out for "That Damned United," about Brian Clough's tragic tenure at Leeds with Michael Sheen as Cloughie.
We've got to get Fabian Delph into the match somehow.
Fabulous ball in and Beckford rises well to head just wide. That was nearly his 26th of the season.
Nice free kick opportunity here for the boys after Beckford is hauled down. It's got to be Bradley Johnson to hit this one left-footed.
Useless free kick into the wall.
Half an hour in and we're still goalless. On the strength of this result, though, we've leapfrogged Millwall into fifth.
An errant ball by Fabian Delph lets Chris Taylor in. But full credit to Fabian for tracking back.
Nasty one from Delph on Chris Taylor. He's been in the wars. It's all boiling over for a minute. Should be a yellow for Fabian here.
Beckford wings a brilliant ball over and Snodgrass launches himself head-long toward it. Well saved by the keeper. We're playing really well here. I'd love to see us score right before the half time interval.
The half time whistle goes and it's 0-0. Satisfying performance but I'd love to see a goal on the scoresheet.
The teams are back out at Oldham and I'm hoping for more result from our great play in the second half.
Decent free kick over there and Richard Naylor might have done better with the header. Easily collected by the keeper.
I'm off for a meeting, which I'm hoping won't take more than a few minutes. I'll be crossing my fingers and toes while I'm gone.
Come on, you Whites!
As I'm packing things up, Oldham have scored. Bugger, bugger, bugger.
1-0 Oldham.
It's all happening. I'll never get to my meeting at this rate. Becchio with the equalizer straight from the kick-off. Great header!
1-1!
Now let's win it!
I am here Bob at 57 minutes.
Good luck
25 minutes to go
Chance for Leeds to get the ball in the box from a free kick... comes to nothing
Leeds have had a few chances recently
Ten to go
Cambridge are beating Histon 1-0 with 13 minutes to go in the big derby
I'm back from my meeting at it's still 1-1 in the 83rd minute.
Hey, Dave!
Oldham save one sort of off the line
Oh, Beckford was nearly in there. Should have stuck it away.
Hey Bob
It's Leeds time
I'm waiting for you to say it, mate.
Ta very much.
Histon have tied it up with Cambridge
Oh dear, here comes Fatty Windass.
Well certainly not the Pinks!
3 minutes of added time
Only three draws all season??
Corner
REAL Leeds time
That was a good run... I don't think that was a foul ref!
One more chance
Not even that
One one
I guess that is an okay score
Up to fifth
I will be around for Wed but not tomorrow
Take Care Bob
just saw the Carlton Palmer bath advert!
Full-time. 0-0. Ah well...
Cheers, mate! Glad you enjoyed the Carlton Palmer ad. Brill, eh?
"Put the Chris de Burgh on, eh?"
