We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Here are my predictions for today's Gameweek 19 fixtures in the Prem:
Birmingham 2 Chelski 2
Fulham 3 Spurs 3
West 2 Pompey 2
Burnley 1 Bolton
Citeh 2 Stoke 0
Sunderland 1 Everton 1
Wigan 1 Blackburn 1
Liverpool 2 Wolves 0
So - loads of scoredraw thrillas!
I've got Soccer AM running as I type. Up next at noon GMT - Soccer Saturday. Lovely jubbly!
The news all week in the rags has been about Chelski's supposed striker crisis. Anelka is crocked, so Kalou joins Drogs up top today. However, when the African Nation's Cup starts in January both of them (as well as Essien and Mikel) will bugger off for about a month. Ancelotti is apparently lining up Luca Toni for the transfer window as cover.
The Mighty Leeds boys have a home match against Jeff Stelling's home team Hartepool today. I'm hoping for three easy points.
Good Morning Bob . I forgot you were over here in a normal time zone .
Hope you had a good Christmas . I'll be popping in and out of LOB today . Hope Dave joins in . Come on Chelsea and of course my Pub Team Fulham and last but certainly not least Leeds .
First up this afternoon is the enticing Brum v. Chelski match. Brum have been in fine form, particularly Banjo Boy who's scored in his last five outings. Hope they can stick one on Chelski (sorry, Chelskilad!)
Morning, Tony. Sorry I didn't notice your earlier comment. Brum and Chelski about to start up in a few minutes. Should be a corker!
Hi guys
Happy Boxing Day gentlemen.
Penalty to West Ham as I join you.... one nil
I have SS on the computer and I am trying to get the control of the TV
Good news for Bob
Charlton down to ten men
The Tractor Roys are beating Palace
I have the TV!!!
Birmingham had a goal disallowed wrongly for offside.
I didn't see it but SS think so
We have the game at St. Andrews on ESPN2 and on FSC they are at Craven Cottage.
At 10, we get Sunderland Everton and then at 12:30 it is Costa vs Wolves
Phil Big Nose is very unimpressed by what is going on at Upton Park
QPR take the lead at home against Bristol City
Let's hope that Jeff Stelling is an unhappy chappy soon. His lot are at Elland Road
Norwich are beating MIllwall at half time 1-0
Scoreless at half time at St. Andrews.
Morning, Dave! It has been an absorbing first half at St. Andrews. Joe Hart has been excellent for the Blues, most notably keeping out Frank Lampard at point blank range. I thought that Martinez's goal was perfectly good but people will argue about whether Drogba on the ground could play him onside. Not sure about that rule.
Palace has tied it up against Town
Good news about Charlton, but I'd like to see a Swindon goal and a Millwall equalizer.
Now.... Ipswich are down to ten men!
John Stead gets a straight red.... don't know why
Soccer Saturday has been pre-empted by Sky coverage of the Newcastle match. They're currently 1-2 up over Wednesday. Jeff started the show this morning with a prayer for Hartlepool.
CHarlton are one up but are now down to NINE men
Bugger!
Good afternoon Robert
Scoreless at the Cottage at half
Of course, FSC is behind... this time FIVE minutes!!
The Hammers take their lead to half time
John will be pleased, My family in Portsmouth won't
Great stuff on SS.... all the funny parts of the year
Watford draw with Forest
Forest remain unbeaten away from home. The only team in the country. Up to second for a few hours at least... This is going to be Leeds next season
Did you see Snoddy's winner from last weekend. I finally had a chance to see the clip. Bloody goal of the season that was. Got it on the left, did a Johan Cruyff on the defender and then hit a beautiful curler into the top corner.
Didn't see it. I will take a look. Against Southampton?
Sheff Wed has tied it up against Newcastle
Burnley and Bolton has started
Bob's predictions were for a lot of score draws...well, the first half has produced nowt from both matches I'm watching!
Colchester take the lead at Southend
Jeff S. wants JB to have a one match ban for his petulance of last week... they're playing Hartlepool
Morning gentlemen. Happy Boxing Day to you all. Looking forward to seeing Everton on FSC later and spinning the net for Celtic.
Brum have a great free-kick well saved by Cech
Happy Boxing Day to you Someone
That's worrying - Cech's smacked his head pretty hard on the post there and Hilario is warming up immediately.
Come on City!!!!!!
Yeah - it was the Snoddy winner against the Saints from last weekend. Goal of the Season!
Morning, SS! Happy Boxing Day!
Norwich are two up... I think it is your lot and the Canneries that will be the automatic promotion teams
Robby and Tevez start up top for ManCINI for ManCITY
What a miss from Malouda!
I hope that you're right about us and Norwich.
"Colchester were up by a nose but now they are head by a Phil Thompson size nose"!!!
Classic
Palace take the lead against ten men Ipswich
Chelsea turning the screw!
Could Joe Hart be England's number 1?
Free kick chance again for Birmingham... don't hit your head again Cech!
Into the wall
Birmingham have a break but Jerome doesn't make much of it!
15 to go in Birmingham
Good news for Bob
Swindon has scored against 9 man Charlton
1-1
Lampard was brought off for Joe Cole... he didn't look like a happy camper.... ask for a transfer!!
There's a shock. Ancelotti has pulled off Lamps to have Joe Cole on for the last 15 minutes.
Okay, as you noted, my 3-3 scoredraw prediction was mighty optimistic, but a 0-0 would give me 15 points and would be pretty satisfying to you, Gooner and the rest of the Big Four rabble.
Way hay to Swindon!
Not a goal from open play on Boxing Day so far in the Prem
Gomez is keeping Fulham in it.
Joe Hart bleeding from the head after challenge from Drogs... Will he have to go off?
Bolton take the lead at Turf Moor
Come on BRIMINGHAM
Five minutes plus added time
Joe Hart looks like Terry Butcher!!
Birmingham would be undefeated in 10 prem games
Malouda is off for a second yellow
Brum should have done better there! Two chances for the shot and only a weak one comes in
Nasty sliding challenge there from Malouda and he's off for a second yellow. Lots of extra time to come in this one.
Terry Butcher makes a save after a scramble in the box
Into injury time at St. Andrews. I don't know how much
Come on Banjo Boy!!
ALL the TOP BOYS are dropping lots of points this season
SWINDON HAVE SCORE A SECOND GOAL AT CHARLTON... 15 minutes to go
The Toon draw at Hillsborough
94th minute... how much time was said
BLOW UP REF!!
final minute of SIX added minutes!
That's it!!
Goalless in Birmingham... very happy here! Sorry Bruv!
ESPN's first scoreless game
Marvelous! Birmingham pull out the draw and now Swindon look likely to take more points off Charlton. What a magic Boxing Day so far.
John will be pleased
Two nil Hammers
Plymouth take a very late goal to take the lead at Cardiff
Well done, the Hammers!
Looks like a full strength side for the Leeds today at ER. Jeff can get stuffed!
Coming down to seconds at Charlton - blow up ref!
No goals for Boxing Day yet on both ESPN and FSC!
The 3pm kickoffs are about to start up and I'm back on Soccer Saturday. Come on, you Whites!
Bugger!!
Nine Men Charlton get a last second equalizer!!
93rd minute!
Bugger! Charlton have snatched a late point. Still - two dropped points.
3 points behind Leeds... but don't Leeds have two games in hand?
Come on Toffees, three points!
Ipswich took the lead but lost 3-1 at Selhurst Park
Not too bad on the predictions. I've got 15 points each off the Brum and Fulham draws. I'll lose ten on the West Ham one.
Yeah - as of this minute, we've kicked off, so we're four points up with one game in hand. Could be six points up with a win.
Cambridge take the lead against Stevenage
The SS reporter at ER thinks Leeds should be two up already with two big chances for Snoddy. Come on!
Burnley tie it up with Bolton
I am in in and out right now because I am doing some Boxing Day clean up
Sotton leading
Burnley equalize - that's one score draw I've got right on. 30 points for me if it stays that way.
Did you have a big of a Christmas knee's up yesterday, Dave?
Total dominance from Leeds so far at the Elland. We need a goal!
Someone Said will be happy - Celtic are 1-0 up to Hamilton through a Glenn Looevens goal.
I come back to the TV and computer to find Sunderland have taken the lead against Everton
Where is Landy?
Bugger, bugger, bugger. Jeff's happy because Leeds have gone one down to Hartlepool. Our record of being the only side in the country not to have ever been down at the half time interval may be about to go.
Bloody Hell.... Leeds are losing!
Citeh take the lead as do Blackburn
Leeds will NOT be losing at half time
TOLD YOU!!!
Leeds have tied it up!!!!
Lucky goal but who cares!!!
Off of Beckford heal
YESSS!!!!!!
JB's 16th of the season - doesn't sound as if he knew much about it.
Mancini must be breathing a sigh of relief. Didn't sound like the new look Citeh without booboy Bellamy was clicking but Petrov's goal will silence some of the critics.
Is Man Cini going to have a tough time at Man City?
Happy Boxing Day, All! Absolutely vital result for the Hammers! Did my friend, Alessandro, convert the penalty? Santa brought FIFA 10 and an Xbox to Cal for Xmas. West Ham beat AC Milan in the inaugral match.
Nice one, Dave.
Happy Boxing Day to you too.
Yes it was your buddy that put it away
Well done beating Milan... hope United can match you in the Champions League
Citeh doubles their lead through Tevez
The ARGENTINE GIVE LEEDS THE LEAD!
Morning, WHR! Well done to your lads today. That gets them out of jail, at least temporarily.
Yes, Jeff Stelling is sick as a parrot because we're going to go in 2-1 up. Sounds like another jammy goal off Becchio's head this time. Don't care. We're seven points clear of Charlton as I type.
TV SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT
The Greatest premiers on FSC on Jan 4 at 9 pm
They showed highlights of Cryuff, Best and more
Should be good!
off to shower and shave. be back soon
Soccer Saturday nearly gave me a heart attack showing a repeat of funny moments from the show again, including Jeff dancing to "I Feel Good" his usual cue for a Hartlepool goal. But no it's still half-time with Leeds in the driver's seat.
Lost control of the computer. Everton cannot finish. Good to see Celtic up front.
Wigan have tied it up
Leeds not adding to their two
That Wigan goal could give me another 30 points. Good day on the predictions. I'm spot on with the Citeh scoreline right now too.
Everton showing little. Fortune hits the post then Samaras misses off his left foot. Still 1-0 Hoops.
I am back from doing half my driveway
What's happening?
Where's Landycakes?
Leeds still winning?
Haven't missed much
Exeter getting a goal back at a packed St. Mary's
JB scores Leeds' third... Stelling still thinks that he should have been suspended against them
Seven goals in six games against Hartlepool
Landy's arriving in January. Too bad he can't play the back four.
Rochdale 7 points clear at the start of the day and they are winning again. They have been in the bottom tier since 1974
COME ON ROCHDALE
YESSSS!!!!
3-1 Leeds JB's 17th of the season. Could he score 40 for us this season?
DUH... of course, he has to wait for the window to open
Yeah - sorry, Dave. I was going to comment on Landycakes. He's signed for the January window as cover for the Everton's injury ridden midfield.
As soon as I start rooting for Rochdale... they have now been pegged back at Crewe
Tony wanted to apologize that he buggered off. He had to take Debs to the doctor. She wasn't feeling well. She is okay. What a good big bruv he is... of course, he never comes and visits his little bruv
Hamilton have a goal disallowed. Hand ball.
Any help Donovan can bring will be accepted.
Is he going to be in the midfield?
1639: News from Anfield: Alberto Aquilani starts for Liverpool. He must be a new signing or something. Dirk Kuyt dropped to the bench.
MK Dons are 4-1 up against Stockport
Come on Leeds... match em
Everton have tied it up!!!
Hair Bear Bunch
Someone Said must be dancing down in Columbus. Everton have pegged back Sunderland and Celtic have increased their lead, all within about a minute's time.
I'd love to see a fourth goal but I'm not greedy. Just give me the three points.
Now, the question is - can United's back four live with Beckford? I don't know....
Sotton have scored their third
Remember... one more league game for Leeds and then I can HATE LEEDS for a week!
This 1-1 at SoL would give you another 30 points as well as at the DW
1651: TEAMS Liverpool v Wolverhampton
Liverpool: Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Agger, Insua, Aquilani, Lucas, Benayoun, Gerrard, Aurelio, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Kuyt, Ngog, Spearing, Darby, Skrtel, Pacheco.

60 points for Mr. Dahlgren
Man Cini wins on his debut for Man City
Congrats
Leeds win 3-1
Off to finish the driveway.
I'll be back
Forward on together/we're going to see you win! La la la la
Bring on United!
Man Cini won 2-0 so another 30 points for Bobby!
And a tremendous day for me with all the score draws. I calculate a 140 point increase!
Who do guys have on Monday... I'll look it up...Stockport away. NOON KICK OFF in England... don't sleep through it!!
We're off to have some dinner before East Enders comes on. Nice chatting with you lot.
We play each other at 8 'clock next Sunday
Come on WOLVES!!!
Costa are scoreless at half time... long may it continue
Costa get a comfortable 2-0 victory. It all changed with the sending off. He did two silly fouls and got two yellow. Gerrard did as well and didn't get any!!
Have a good rest of Boxing Day
