Lakenheath Old Boys

We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Happy Birthday, Gooner!

Many happy returns to the Gooner today on his birthday. I'm hoping that the birthday mojo will work wonders on the big draw for the World Cup, too.

Happy birthday, bruvver!

I can only pray that what's pictured here is waiting for me at home. Give the missus a call for me and tell her to get crackin' eggs and whipping butter. If I were to suggest it, what she has at hand isn't a three-iron, it's a cricket bat!

Cheers! Steve

Cheers to all of you youngsters.

Already Sepp and co have given me a nice prezzie by putting England in this doddle of a group, and the US given a do-able task, and CRonnie enough ammunition to start the tears now.

Hey Stevie C! Didn't see you there at first. Thanks and good to hear from you.

Info on the draw ad nauseum is on the previous post. It's good for the USA, great for England, and not good news for one of either Portugal or Cote d'Ivoire.
