Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

Another big match tonight sees seventh take on eighth place in the Premier League between Aston Villa and Everton at Villa Park. Both sides are seeking to book their place in Europe next season, and with Villa having no FA Cup final to look forward to after their 3-0 defeat by Chelsea at Wembley, they will be seeking to bounce back. It will not be easy though, against David Moyes' Toffees, who after a difficult start have produced their usual mix of grit and finesse to be in with a good shout of another Europa League spot.
In the third match in the Premiership this week, 17th placed Wigan will hope for three points against relegated Pompey in order to stretch the distance between themselves and Burnley in 18th. A win for Wigan today would take them onto 34 points and near safety.
Everton the better side so far. Passing the ball well.
The North London derby is about to begin.
Tim Cahill has nodded Everton in front after a brilliant delivery by Leighton Baines.
0-1 Toffees!
That goal would bring Everton within a point of Villa in 7th place and will make the Villans nervous about their Europa League spot.
The new Spurs teenager Danny Rose has lashed in a wicked drive to start Tottenham's evening out brilliantly.
1-0!
That goal brings Spurs within a point of Citeh in 4th and increases pressure on them to get something out of the Manc derby on Saturday morning.
Approaching half-time at Villa Park with Everton still in the lead.
I am home from school
Hey Bob
I have EPSN2 on with the London derby
ESPN having two games on in two days!
It's all Arsenal now at Shite Fart Lane but as usual they're trying to walk the ball into the goal.
Marvelous! I can't find a link for the derby so I'm watching the Soccer Special. I'm off to set up my class in a moment anyway.
Good to have you on board.
Half time whistle is blown in what has been an intriguing game here at Villa Park. Villa need to fight back in the second half, but Everton look dangerous on the break. Good tempo to it. Hopefully we should see some more goals.
Half time at WHL
Spurs 1 Arsenal 0
What a goal from that kid!!
Half time at Shite Fart - 1-0 Spurs.
I haven't seen the goal yet but it sounds like a corker!
Full volley... brilliant!
I leave and miss Spurs second goal
After ONE MINUTE!!
Where is the defense!!
Still 2-0 with 25 minutes to go
Gabby ties it up for Villa but Cahill scores as Everton retake the lead
I hope Spurs have this kind of performance when host Chelsea in the last game on Saturday
Cahill's last 11 goals have been with his head!!
RVP has come on for the Arsenal
Good to see him back
Gudjohnsen comes on for Defoe and almost scores with his first touch
Under 20 to go at WHL
If the scores stay the same, Arsenal will stay in 3rd, 6 points behind Chelsea and two behind United
Spurs will be on behind Citeh with exactly the same GD
Hope United can beat Citeh and then Spurs beat Chelsea and everyone would be happy!
Villa have tied it up for a second time in injury time
Jagielka with the OG
Still not good enough for Villa though
Tottenham passing the ball around well
Villa goal: Horror moment for Tim Howard just as the teams had gone into injury time at Villa Park. Ashley Young curled over an inswinger from the left and Phil Jagielka, who has been struggling with John Carew all evening, heads into his own net. But Howard, who could only help it on its way, really should have done better.
Villa will be one point behind Costa with a game in hand.
2135: Phil Neville goes agonisingly close to winning it for Everton, but he collects Leighton Baines' cross and drills inches wide of the far post from an angle on the right.
2 wins in 31 games against the Arsenal for Harry Redkhapp
All over at Villa Park with the honors even 2-2
Spurs first goal of the night by Danny Rose
29 yards out, 69 mph
RVP with a nice turn and well saved by Gomes
All over at the DW.. nil nil
Only the one game still going on
Rosicky goes close... under ten to go
Free kick chance for the Arse after a foul by Dawson on Diaby. RVP with a rocket but Gomes with a brilliant one handed save. RVP could have had two since he came on... THEN from the corner, Sol heads it and it was brilliantly saved by Gomes on to the frame THEN Arsenal come back and Bendtner slides in to put the Arse back in it... GAME ON
5 to go
RVP has a nice shot saved by Gomes again!
What a difference he has made
88th minute and Crouchie is coming on for Pavla
If Spurs do blow this, I don't want them with their heads down for Saturday!
2148: One man hasn't sparked a team to life like this before since Cesc Fabregas against Aston Villa earlier this season. Robin van Persie rampages forward again and hammers in a left-footer from 25 yards that the Brazilian Heurelho Gomes is once again equal to. What a duel.
Into 4 minutes of added time
Spurs keeping good possession
Under 3 to go
90 seconds
Under a minute
30 seconds and Spurs have a corner... that could be it
That's it
Spurs 2 Arsenal 1
Sorry Steve
COME ON SPURS... do the same to Chelsea!!!!
Take care everyone
