Lakenheath Old Boys
We are all former students at Lakenheath High School and other public schools in East Anglia. We were in school in the 70s and 80s and drank deeply from the well of British culture of those decades - the pints, the telly, and of course the footie!

The teams are in -
Man City: Fulop, Zabaleta, Toure, Kompany, Bridge, Adam Johnson, De Jong, Barry, Bellamy, Tevez, Adebayor Subs: Nielsen, Richards, Onuoha, Wright-Phillips, Santa Cruz, Sylvinho, Vieira
Tottenham: Gomes, Kaboul, Dawson, King, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Huddlestone, Modric, Bale, Crouch, Defoe Subs: Alnwick, Bentley, Jenas, Pavlyuchenko, Palacios, Gudjohnsen, Bassong
Spurs keeper Gomes has been struggling with a groin injury since the weekend, so that may be a factor if Citeh wingers can ping some crosses over.
Some discussion between Alan Green and Mark Lawrenson about whether Ledley King should be in the 2010 squad. I don't know about having a sick note on the flight.
Discussion on Five Live now about whether Citeh should have been able to bring in an emergency keeper after Shay Given was crocked.
A draw is probably sufficient for Harry Redknapp's team tonight but he's gone ahead and put out an attacking line-up anyway.
Great stream up through Iraq Goals with Martyn Tyler commentating alongside Paul Walsh:

Fabio Capello is in the crowd tonight and has plenty of players to watch including Dawson, King, Lennon, Crouch and Defoe for Spurs and Barry and even Adam Johnson for Citeh.
Citeh get us underway then in their most important match in yonks.
A real hell for leather start to the match here.
My first question of the afternoon is answered. Mancini is shown in the technical and...he's still wearing the scarf. A little more loosely tied today I notice. It must be perishing.
Bit of a slip there for Barry and his clearance goes nervously over the Citeh bar.
The Aaron Lennon v. Wayne Bridge match-up should be fascinating.
Kabboul and Dawson have shown their early intentions to put the boot in early.
Tevez with a terrific run through the Spurs defense. But Gomes smothered it well.
And again from Tevez. He's cutting Assou-Kotto to ribbons on the left side.
Fifteen minutes gone - still 0-0 here. That will suit Spurs.
Spurs have the ball in the net but it's been called back. Crouch apparently had impeded someone.
Citeh have had most of the pressure but Spurs have had the better chances.
Kabboul is finally going into the book after one too many fouls on Bellamy.
Half an hour gone - 0-0.
Nearly an own goal by Gareth Bale there, but for some excellent work by Gomes.
Half time at Eastlands. A lot of effort but no goals to show for it. Both sides are surely capable of it but they know the stakes are high.
0-0.
The teams are back out for the second half now. A really crucial forty five minutes ahead of them. Citeh are a point behind Spurs and really need the win. If Spurs hold Citeh today, they'll only need to match them at the weekend.
Spurs kicking us off for the second half then....
An irritating colleague has just come by and interrupted my footie watching. An hour gone now and still 0-0.
Kolo Toure did well to take a ball off Crouchie's head there.
All change at the 70th minute mark then. Bentley on for Lennon and SWP on for Adam Johnson.
High, wide and 'orrible from Modric there.
Crouch with a point blank header saved by the emergency Citeh keeper. Wow!
Still end to end stuff here.
Just a little over ten minutes to play now.
Was Adebayor impeded there? No, says the referee.
Oh - Tevez lined up a rocket and King blocked it out.
Redknapp is preparing to throw Pavs into the mix now.
GOAL! And Peter Crouch has scored this time! Tremendous pressure from Spurs from both sides. Assou-Kotto put the cross over finally, the keeper did well to save but Crouchie stuck in the rebound.
0-1 Spurs!
That should just about do it for Spurs and the Champions League spot. Citeh will be disappointed but they'll be back hunting with plenty of new cash and players next season for sure.
I'm off for my late class then.
See you at the weekend!
