World Cup Predictions Game Update
World Cup 2010 in South Africa wrapped up its Group Stage today and pushes straight into the knock-out stages tomorrow morning (whew!), so that just gives me a few hours to compute where we stand after the first 24 matches:

2. Matthew - 15 points (12 teams left)
3. Thomas - 15 points (11 teams left)
4. Simon Burke - 14 points (12 teams left)
5. Yellows - 14 points (11 teams left)
6. Blue Devil - 13 points (11 teams left)
7. Blubber Boy - 13 points (11 teams left)
8. Gooner71 - 13 points (11 teams left)
9. Someone Said - 13 points (11 teams left)
10. West Ham Rising - 12 points (10 teams left)
11. Jonathan - 12 points (10 teams left)
12. Chelskilad - 11 points (10 teams left)
13. Kathy - 11 points (10 teams left)
14. United We Stand - 11 points (10 teams left)
15. ManUtd Rules - 9 points (9 teams left)
4 Comments:
There is no clear Golden Boot leader right now, with three players on three goals at the moment:
Gonzalo Higuain (Argentina)
David Villa (Spain)
Robert Vitteh (Slovakia)
Nine players on two goals:
Lee Jung Soo (South Korea)
Asamoah Gyan (Ghana)
Keisuke Honda (Japan)
Landon Donovan (US)
Kalu Uche (Nigeria)
Diego Forlan (Uruguay)
Brett Holman (Australia)
Luis Fabiano (Brazil)
Tiago (Portugal)
And too many to mention on one.
Where are my two predictions???
I am totally disgusted with my performance!
Not to mention my wife's, youngest son and oldest brother
As for my other two boys... not bad!
Of course, Matt wants to complain that his name should have been first! Forget the alphabet!
Still in the middle of the pack. Hanging in there.
I wish I'd known that Milito had peed in Diego's coffee and thus will never start again. Bollocks.
