Good morning UWS. You posted some interesting comments.Seven Germans are on a card and playing against Argentina. They are bound to have some players suspended if they make the semis.
I remember being at Wembley in 1981 when England beat the World Champions 3-2. The fans, as normal, started booing the Argentine national anthem... it was so long... they got bored booing!!!

To answer your question, UWS I think it has something to do with preparation. The Germans always seem united during the World Cup and they seem to have the proper mental preparation.

Melanie and I replayed Klose's first goal three times. It was so close that we must give the linesman the benefit of the doubt.We think he was level with the ball and that his front foot was ahead of the last defender by about three inches.

This was Argentina's worst defeat in the tournament since they lost 0-4 to Holland in 1974. They did lose 1-6 to Czechoslovakia in 1958 and 1-6 to Bolivia on April Fools day last year in a qualifier. I agree.Maradonna is gone.
